+ -1 moreMark removed lower 4and quot; of and cedar 1 x 4 with flashing was installed in it's place. After removal additional damage was found and pointed out to me. This was corrected and final product is fantastic. Very professional and cost was reasonable. Work was outstanding. Would definitely use again.
Description of Work: Cedar from upper level of tri level home had water damage at bottom near drip edge.

+ 2 moreThe work in the kitchen and bathrooms went very well overall. I was comfortable working with the company owner to come up with ideas that I liked and made sense for my house. I don't enjoy projects like this, but they made it relatively painless. A granite kitchen countertop was broken in the process of being installed, but that was the granite company's fault, not the remodeler. Smith Construction handled the stiuation well. The slate bathroom floor ended up taking up more time than anyone had anticipated, but they accommodated the extra time. Mr. Smith also designed a new decorative exterior overhang for the front door and replaced the front door. All projects were done as promised. I have seen other projects done by William Smith Construction and highly recommend their services.
Description of Work: Smith Construction did kitchen and bathroom remodeling. New countertops, sink, lighting, and backsplash were done in the kitchen. A box ceiling light was removed and the ceiling was perfectly patched. New countertops, flooring, and sinks were put in two bathrooms, plus a new vanity in one. A slate floor was done in one bathroom that was very time consuming, but came out beautifully. The company owner worked with me to design a floor pattern. The work was very good quality. I felt the owner provided excellent advice and help with suppliers of countertops, etc. Work performed was done as promised. I also felt very comfortable with the workers in my house because they were trustworthy. They also did a great job of cleaning up after each day. They worked hard at being minimally intrusive. The same company ended up doing work for a couple of my neighbors because of the quality and honesty.

Description of Work: 16' X 20' ROOM ADDITION, WITH A 12' X 16' ENCLOSED PORCH BESIDE THE ROOM. REPLACED 3 OLD WINDOWS, INSTALLED AN ADDITIONAL 4 WINDOWS. BOW WINDOW UNIT AND REPLACED 2 OLD OUTSIDE DOORS WITH FRAMES.
