Roland is great to work with. I've recommended him to others. He will work on any project until it is done right. He's very dependable and trustworthy. The bathroom turned out just as we wanted. Roland put bracing in the walls and installed grab bars (and a hanging shower seat) as we agreed. All bath fixtures were properly installed. The wall/floor grout and tile are just what we wanted with a nice wall niche for bottle storage. My mom calls it her luxury apartment now that she's moved in. Roland even pushed snow off our driveway with his blade one day when it snowed unexpectedly while he was here working. He really was a pleasure to work with.

I ordered the replacement pad with the expectation that I would do this very small job myself, but decided to check out what a handyman would charge to do it for me. I emailed Roland yesterday morning and he responded very quickly with an estimate and a time that he was available. Roland showed up on time (awesome) and got to work. I told him that I wanted to watch him to the replacement so I would know how to do it the next time. He worked efficiently and cleanly and the whole thing was finished in 20 minutes. I will definitely call Roland the next time that I need handyman work done, which is quite often as I have a 70 year old house with a temperament.

Roland recently renovated our bathroom, filled in a cutout above our fireplace and hung a fireplace mantle. I simply cannot say enough good things about him & his work. To start, he was incredibly responsive. He came over for a quote the very day that I reached out to him! His pricing was very reasonable and he was able to accommodate our tight timeline and start the next week. He went above and beyond our expectations and work listed in our written agreement. He completely gutted our bathroom, reinsulating the shower, levelling the floor, repainting the walls where needed and even fixing the exhaust fan after I mentioned the annoying noise it produced. Our previous floor was built above the base of the tub, leaving a terrible grout mark on the tub. When we asked Roland if we needed a new tub he was determined to save us money and bought over a razor and scraped off the markings making it appear new again! When the tile shop forgot to sell us edging for the shower wall Roland went online, searched through the site, and told us exactly what we needed – a recommendation the tile shop was not able to make when we asked for options. Roland also installed our new vanity, making sure all features worked (our previous one was not connected properly). The final result is an absolutely beautiful bathroom and fireplace! His pride in his work is evident in the finished product and we truly enjoyed his presence in our home over the holidays. We could not be happier with our entire experience and will continue to use and recommend Roland for any and all home projects he is willing to do!

Roland Kaufman contacted me within hours of my online inquiry. He scheduled a time for an estimate within a week of the inquiry to replace our back door and add a storm door. When we were ready to proceed with the project he was able to schedule the job within just a few days. Unfortunately, I had ordered and received the incorrect size of door. My husband was able to get the door replaced that same day and Mr. Kaufman patiently waited for us to get the correct door. He could have easily rescheduled the service, but he didn't. The door look great, works perfectly and we are very pleased with the service and installation. Most of all we were glad to support a locally owned small business.

Roland was always punctual and a hard worker. He stayed focused on the job in front of him. He worked on one bathroom which took about a week and a half and then we scheduled another time to do the other bathroom which took about the same time. my husband and i are loving the updates. We had company over and they raved on the new sleek modern look.

The vinyl siding job was completed with quality workmanship and an eye to detail. This was an amazing transformation of the house. Roland worked continuously until the house was finished and always takes pride in his work. He turns out a great product. We had a very dated tub/shower unit which Roland removed with minimal dust/dirt and noise. He built up the floor so the water drains properly and tiled the walls. He also installed sliding glass shower doors. The work he does is amazing! We love our new, walk in shower; it's like having a spa in our house!
We highly recommend Roland with whatever job we need him for. We've used him several times and he is prompt and extremely trust worthy!

You cannot find a more honest and hardworking guy than Roland! He went above and beyond to make sure the deck was completed by my daughters graduation party. He arrived on time each day and cleaned up after he was finished. He gave great suggestions on the stain color matching the house trim. I was hesitant at first, but went with his suggestion and we love it. We get lots of compliments on how fantastic our deck looks! We would recommend him highly and would not hesitate to use him in the future on other projects.
