I always have a good experience with Just Rite Heating & Air. He always lets me know what his plans are and, then upon completion, informs me of everything that he has done. There's good communication on his part. I feel that I can trust the decisions he makes when he performs a job for me. I felt the cost was reasonable.

I really like this company. They fixed my furnace last year, so when my A/C wasn't working I gave them a call. Luckily, for me, it was an easy fix. Daniel gives the kind of service that we used to have in the 60s and 70s - honest and reliable - but often lacking in today's world. I can't praise this company and its owner enough.

Dan has been my go to guy for most of my HVAC issues for a few years for good reason. This time a service line to my water heater sprung a leak and had soaked the floor in my utility room. Dan came out same day, quickly diagnosed & replaced the faulty (aging) copper piping. He was as usual, prompt, professional & extremely knowledgeable.

About 11 months ago Dan installed HVAC systems on both sides of a duplex we own. He performed decent work for a decent price and everything was ok until 6 weeks ago when one of the units stopped cooling completely. Initially Dan came out and diagnosed a leak in the compressor. Said he would speak with the manufacturer, obtain the replacement parts, and perform the repair. Then he dropped off the face of the earth. My business partners and I have each called Dan several times to get an update but have never received a response. Dan is typically a good guy. I have hired him to do work on rental units as well as my home and until now not had a major problem. That said, he left me with a mess on this project and last week I finally had to bring another guy out to solve the problem. Truly disappointing.

"This person didn't own this rental and was committing insurance fraud so i refused to do anymore work for him. I turned hes info over to the attorney generals office. He did this report out of spite. He is a criminal and should be treated as one by anyone that has dealings with him."

I called Just-Rite Heating when I arrived home and found that the furnace was not working. Daniel, of Just-Rite, was quick to respond. I was impressed with how knowledgeable he was and how quickly he diagnosed the problem and got the furnace working. He's a really personable guy, too.

My gas furnace wouldn't ignite. Naturally, it was one of those icy, frigid nights right before Christmas. I left a message and got a call back right away. Dan gave me an approximate time he would be there and was right on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem. Some broken solder was preventing a good connection. This was an unusual problem and he didn't have a soldering iron with him, so he figured out a temporary patch to get us through the night. He came back the the next morning and fixed it in just a few minutes. Now it works great! I would definitely call Just-Rite again!

My newer furnace was intermittently failing for unknown reasons. I called Dan on 2 occasions to try to diagnose the problem before he had to make a trip out, The heat continued to work intermittently but I knew a cold front was on the horizon. Dan came out on very short notice, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and it's been a warm house ever since.

Dan installed a new Water heater in the Spring of 2008 (I forgot to report that great experience to Angie!). I took his advice on which size, make, model to buy and he was right on the money. Installation went down without a hitch. Old tank was removed and disposed of. Great service, very fair price. 6 months later, the water heater's pilot kept going out. Dan inspected it and replaced a sensor that he deemed suspicious. The same day, the same problem, so he proactively contacted the manufacturer for more troubleshooting advice. A new part (??) was ordered, installed and has worked great ever since. This was a warranty issue in which Dan dealt with the logistics.

I have been on contract for years with a large local HVAC company for my own house and rental properties. The costs with that company have been rising exponentially every year and every visit seems to cost me hundreds of dollars. My own AC unit at my house was replaced in the spring at a cost of approximately $2000, which I found very high for an average unit that will soon be phased out (as companies have to stop installing freon units next year, I think it is, and go to the R-22 type, I believe it is called). A fellow landlord provided Dan Dijak's name to me and I gave him a call for the next problem that arose. Even though he came from Greenfield all the way to Indy, he arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem on that unit, which was 1/2 empty of freon, causing the unit not to cool the house. I found this odd, since the unit had been pumped full of freon in April by my regular company (?), and figured I had a leak. My regular company would have just told me to replace it (at 2K) and be done with it. Dan went over all the components of the unit, including the coil inside, which he said was included in his normal maintenance. NO service technician has ever cleaned my coils in seven years of being on contract with another company! He added dye to the freon and said he would come back to find the leak, if there was one. Cost with freon/dye? $135. I was very happy. The second problem arose a couple of days later when another unit at another home stopped cooling. Fearing an expensive fix or replacement again, I called Dan. He arrived right on time and was working on the unit when I arrived. He very quickly diagnosed the problem as damaged capacitors, showed them to me (they were swollen!) and explained the issue, and replaced them with a few minutes. I was extremely happy, as were the tenants in residence, to have only a couple hours or so without AC on a hot day! A few days later Dan returned to the first unit, and spent a couple more hours attempting to find a leak, and found none. The unit is working fine at this time. I will keep an eye on this unit. I am skeptical as to whether it was ever filled with freon at all by my first company, or worse, worried that someone tried to let out the freon to steal the unit but got interrupted. At any rate, it is working fine now. I am extremely happy with Dan's diligence, speed and professionalism and will now call him even though I am still on contract for the rest of the year with the other company!

I am very particular about people who work on my HVAC, electrical or plumbing components in my home! Mr. Dijak showed up after hours (per my request) which impressed me as I am a single homeowner with 2 jobs. He was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I immediately had confidence in his abilities. He performed the installation as hired with no hitches. It took a bit longer than I expected, but he had to run to a supply house for a small part, which he did not charge me extra for. Dan came out after hours per my request as I live alone and work full time. He took his time evaluating, troubleshooting the furnace ruling out a flame sensor which was his initial suspicion. Replaced a faulty sensor of some sort, replaced my clogged filter (my bad!) and I'm back in business. I ran the furnace last night as it got into the 40's and it ran beautifully.
