HD Contracting

HD Contracting went well above & beyond my expectations. I had a sewage overflow in my main floor so I had to have all new flooring put in along with some drywall work and painting. I was recommended HD Contracting by my insurance company and I couldn't be more satisfied. They arrived when they said they would, worked in a clean & organized manner, answered any questions/concerns. The work is definitely that of a professional that cares about the finished product. All in all I can't recommend HD Contracting enough. I look forward to the day when I am able to work with them again.

HD was absolutely amazing from start to finish. They showed up when they said they would and did everything they quoted us for. We had water damage from a damaged pipe that left our floors ruined. We of course had to deal with insurance and they were my only light through the whole process. The workers were clean, respectful, and mindful. Shellie in the office always answered the phone with any questions I had. Everyone was great at communicating. I can't say enough good things about HD. We will absolutely be using them for any other projects that require a GC.

The workers, Elsa and Miguel, were prompt, polite and clean. They worked very efficiently and were very careful moving our extremely heavy furniture. The carpet is installed perfectly and looks fantastic! We couldn't be happier with the quality of their work.

In mid-May, my husband and I experienced a burst water pipe which caused damage throughout the first floor of our house. After interviewing several contractors for restoration work, I was highly impressed by the owner of HD Contracting, Dan, and the effort he put in to his bid. Dan helped me navigate the claim process with insurance to make sure I got every penny we needed for the project, and his professionalism didn't stop there! From start to finish, the team at HD were courteous, communicative, timely, detailed, and most importantly, did great work! We're so happy to find a contractor we can trust, and already have a few more projects we'll be contacting HD for!

It was fantastic! They were on time, flexible, followed thru commitment, price was good, kept in contact with us, and did a fantastic job. Rich had great design suggestions, and lots of pictures of the work he had done.

It went just fine. I would recommend this company to others and would use them again if needed.

They did a great job. They took one day less than they estimated it to take. I was very impressed by the way they put the plastic to protect the other areas of my house, but they also took pictures of my tables, shelves, cabinets to make sure everything was put back into the correct spot. They job HD Contracting did was just perfect!

They were awesome. Everything was on time and we were happy with the work completed. They left the place in great condition.

I feel like he had the insurance company in his best interest instead of me. They kept asking for extra money to fix the paint and other things. I was not pleased with the service.

Dan Metschke the president of the company came to my house was professional communicated the repairs and organized the tile specialists construction crews and the insurance agent The work was done on time and and within the estimated cost.

I am very happy with the work that they completed and the price that was given. They were very nice, trustworthy.

Had a leak in garage, that went into kitchen that shared a wall. Black mold had formed and flooring and bottom cabinets had to be removed and replaced. Due to weather and scheduling because of MY job, it took longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. My kitchen looks as good as new. Would recommend and use again.

As noted above, HD Contracting was incredibly responsive on our very short timeframe. The work was professionally done, and progress reported regularly. I rated the price as and quot;goodand quot; simply because we did not have time to get more than one estimate so have nothing to compare it to. However, all the charges seemed extremely reasonable and the job came in at the amount of the estimate.

They did a super job. The man that cut the granite slabs was really an artist as he put them back together again because you truly have to search to find the seams. He has matched the pattern in the granite that well. The guys really worked hard. I was having company and we have some delays with construction and I said to please do something about it. So they really worked hard to get the countertops in and just did a phenomenal job. They were nice to work with. We had a miscommunication and that we were waiting for them to come and finally contacted them and asked them about the hold up and they wanted the return of the contract that was signed which was certainly their prerogative but we had already put down half but they wanted the piece of paper.

Our bathroom looks brand new and our garage had a hole in it from water damage and now you would never know anything had changed! Everyone on their crew was professional and courteous and maintained a very clean work space! I am equally impressed by the quality of the work they did and they did it in such a timely manner-we couldnt be happier w/our home improvments!

I bought new doors for every doorway. Bathrooms, hallways, closets. They needed to be stained along with molding and baseboards. They were stained beautiful. But when they put them in the putty was a complete different color. I had my bathroom completely gutted and remodeled. He has had about 20 different guys. One comes in, then quits, etc. They had new cabinets put in new bathtub, new stair pieces put in. He didn't rout it correctly. Again, the putty holes look horrible. The baseboard he put on, there are gaps in between it. The base does not fit from casing to casing. The baseboard wasn't put on properly. The casing doesn't fit to the wall properly. The grout on the bathtub where the tile starts is cracking and he has came out to try and fix it once but it did the same thing again. He then told me today that it's not his problem. He has been paid for things he has not done. He has been paid in full. This is why you don't pay in full because it's not done to satisfaction and it's not completed. He charged me to remove and reset a vanity, sink, and faucet and was paid in full. I went and got the supplies and then actual countertop bumps into the casing. Now that his main base guy quit on him and he doesn't have anyone that can do it properly, he says that he was not paid to do that job although he was. Nothing has been done right with this guy. People have quit on him and he has to send someone else in to do it. It was supposed to be done for Christmas and the guy he had in originally quit on him and I had to wait three weeks to get someone else in here. The railing for the stairs, you have to put a cap on the end to seal.

They were pretty good at what they did. I had known them from the past because of which I didn't go with any other company.
