$2,200
I had my dosing tank pump replaced by FISK a year and half ago for the price of $2,200 with them selling me the pump and them saying they would typically last 8-10 years. That pump has now quit working already and these pumps have a 3 year manufacturer warranty. FISK's response to me is that they don't honor those nor would they replace mine for just the labor cost. They told me i would have to purchase a new one. Excuse me??? $2,200 for a year and half use and you want me to purchase a new one? No thank you crooks. I called around to other local plumbing and septic companies with all telling me they would have replaced my pump with the cost of just the labor due to the pump having a manufacturer warranty. They would then have sent back that pump to the manufacturer and received a new replacement from them. I wonder if they are familiar with the Federal Trade Commission and the laws protecting consumers!

I have used Fisk for several years now.  As a regular customer who never had a complaint before I expected to be treated fairly but that was not the case.  I contacted Fisk when I noticed damage to the septic lid after they had been there.  This was noticed the very next day and I called immediately.  Customer service at Fisk refused to even consider they could have had anything to do with it, they were defensive and accusatory toward me.  I was told it must have been caused by the lawnmower or it had been done previously and I just didn't notice.  Explained to them that the lid is in my flower garden where no lawnmower ever mows (my husband would be in deep trouble) and that I had just been weeding the garden the day before they came and in fact weeded carefully around the lid so it would be visible for them and I know it was not damaged just the day before.  She gave me the number of a company to call for a replacement and told me it would be aprox $70.00 and that was that.  Fisk was willing to throw away a loyal customer over a $70.00 lid.  They would not even consider meeting me halfway, which would have retained my trust in them.  It's not even the money that bothers me, it's the way they treated me.  For what it's worth I have never given a bad report before.

Fisk was a good company for the job. They did arrive 2 hours behind schedule, but when the technician was here he did a wonderful job of explaining what he was doing, what to put down a sink (and more importantly, what NOT to put into the septic system), etc. Price was reasonable, considering my tank was completely full. Definitely would use Fisk again!

It was very good. They were very professional. He was also very friendly and outgoing, and was also giving advice about how to avoid future problems.
