We are a 3rd generation business and still family owned and operated. We personally give all estimates and are on every job site to ensure your completely satisfied. The work was top quality. They showed up on time, completed the work in a half a day, and cleaned up afterwards. Very nice crew. It was a pleasure working with them on this project. They were not the lowest price contractor, but did top quality work.

John and his crew did a high-quality job quickly. We submitted a request for an estimate on Tuesday morning and John came out that afternoon and gave the estimate and the work was completed the next day. John explained all the work and offered suggestions to improve areas in the future.

Initial landscaping went well. The design was great and they put a lot of thought into the type of plants to use. It only took them two days to regrade, put downspouts underground, remove all the old landscaping, trim trees, and design the new landscaping. Several days after, there was a huge storm and some of the dirt from the regrading slid off, however the next day they came out and fix all of it and put erosion blankets on to protect the ground until grass grew. One of the plants they had put in was dying, and they replaced that as well. My only complaint is that during the initial job, something broke and pieces of glass were left in our yard.

Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done. However, some of our tree stumps were just too big to be ground down completely and that would have been good to know up front. Also, the bigger equipment that was needed for the bigger trees left some of our land looking like a dirt road went through it. That would have also been nice to know up front. The price for the work and how quickly and efficiently the work was completed was the reason for the great review. Robert and John (the owners) were a pleasure to work with.

John removed the brick islands and leveled the yard so it sloped to the ditch, put down grass seed and placed a straw cover on top. He add extra dirt around the house in areas that has erosion The job was very well done and really expanded the space. He trimmed bushes, put down mulch with a barrier underneath in 3 large islands on the perimeter of the yard,edged and removed two bushes and ground the stumps. He takes great pride in the jobs he does.

"For those of you reading this. Mr. [Member Name Removed], came out yelling at the crew. Telling us to get off his property. I have a signed contract for trimming and spring clean up. I tried to calm him down and being very professional about it. Me [Member Name Removed]'s picked up a chainsaw then through it at owner. And through coffee on him. Police were called and Mr [Member Name Removed] has a battery charge for assault. He is trying to get a free job done. But will be sued in court. He has tried this other times with company's per IMPD."

Cut down ten trees, dead wood three trees, removed large trunks, repair gutter and down spouts, clean gutters, brought in 10 yards of top soil, built up berm ditch in front, placed down erosion blanket and cleaned up debris.

John Petro and his crew showed up at 7:00 a.m. on the dot. Very punctual as always. This is the 3rd time we have hired Doctor Tree to do tree work for us. Most tree companies don't have the actual arborist on site, but Doctor Tree has 2 arborists doing the trimming and cutting. The work was completed the same day and the clean up was awesome, as if no one had been there. We will certainly hire them in the future. It's nice to have "your own people" that you can count on and trust to do a good job. Thanks John and your crew.

I solicited bids from three highly rated local firms. Doctor Tree's representative came to the house and did an exceptional job of explaining not only what they needed to do, but why it was necessary with an eye to enhancing the tree's long term health and stability. Although Doctor Tree's estimate for service was by far the highest of the three bidders, his rationale for the work that was done convinced me that it was a worthwhile investment. On the day when the work was scheduled, the crew arrived a bit early (before 7am!) but set to work as soon as they were ready - and to my amazement were done in about an hour with the site completely cleaned up. I am exceptionally pleased with my interactions with Doctor Tree and the result of their work.

John Petro and his crew did an amazing job. I got an estimate on Tuesday, and he was here on Thursday of the same week. He was here exactly when he said he would be here and was done in less than four hours. We have a yard that does not have easy access due to a picket fence, and he was able to remove a limb that overhung our fence and was very difficult to get to. The price was very reasonable for the job that John and crew did for us. He also left us the firewood, cut and stacked.

They did a great job; scheduled the job quickly and were very efficient on the job. We had them cut down the tree and haul away the logs and chip branches - the site was completely cleaned up when they left.

They were really great. He did a wonderful job. We got started off on the wrong foot, but it ended great. He was suppose to come out for an estimate and didn't' come, I waited all day. Then I decided to call and he called me later that day and we got it back together. I would give him and F for not showing up but then I changed my mind after he came out Friday and did the work. He was early too. They really worked fast. It's never looked that good in my life. He did a wonderful job. He went to Purdue. If you put the lawn cloth down, it prevents weeds from coming up. I need to have more work but I can only afford so much at a time. I'm not good at comparing price. They used a ton of stone. There was an electric wire coming from the house into the trees so he removed those for me. It was a good job.

They arrived right on time, were totally self managing, did great work, and cleaned up after themselves - all for the price he had quoted. I hired a knucklehead last year to put siding up and it was a nightmare. After that I have a real appreciation for customer service and sticking to the quote. John is a class act. I would recommend him, and would hire him again.
