I called and asked how much to come out, i was told $75 he came out and was there maybe 30 minutes and handed me a bill for $688 and that was after a $189 discount. i was charged $75 to come out, $120 to hose out the unit (which was only 8 months old by the way) and $58 per pound for freon (said i needed 8.5 pounds). i had left messages for quotes from 2 other companies and when they called me back (after it was too late) they were both 1/3 of the cost. i feel taken advantaged of, once he arrived if he had told me about how much it was going to be i would have never agreed to the service, but since he had already done it i had no choice but to pay the bill. I was triple charged because it was 90 degrees outside and that is disgusting

Called, they showed up on time, professional. The inspected the HVAC and found I only needed a new thermostat. They didnt try and sell me a whole new system, just fixed the problem and they were on there way.

Provider was very nice and polite and installed a new air conditioner. One of the employees threw away the door to the furnace in the trash. They came and put a temporary door on and said they could not find a replacement. We called them SEVERAL times to rectify the situation. They have failed to do so. They have not returned calls or emails.

Came out on Feb. 18 and supposedly fixed furnace. On March 19 writing this with a failed furnace-- exact problem as they supposedly fixed in February. No heat, and two young children in the home tonight, cold--family working to stay warm for the night. Called answering service at 11 p.m. Was told someone would call me back immediately. 45 minutes later, I called back to report no one had called. Katelyn, chuckled and said she'd try to see if "Larry" would call me back. It was very clear Katelyn couldn't care less. Still no return call. Clearly a scam operation.

"We are very sorry to see this review listed on our business. We pride ourselves in following through for our customers, especially in emergency situations. On February 18th, the member called at 12:47 am and reached our Answering Service. Once notified by them, our Tech met the client first thing in the morning to assist her heating needs, we located the problems quickly, repaired and was paid. All working great. It seems another issue arose a month later around midnight which prompted another call. We apologize for the delay in our arrival and we take full responsibility for our Answering Service portraying that we would definitely be out that night. From what our answering service understood, the client was very distraught which is why we called back within 5 hours of her call. The time was 5:14 am when we reached her. She answered and stated she had already contacted another company. I encourage you to see our other reviews as we take great pride in our work and follow through for people no matter the circumstances. Thank you for your feedback as we know we are not perfect. In the middle of the recent frigid spell, my furnace started not responding. Called late 1/6. Early 1/7 owner Larry Stone called to determine the problem. He thought it may have been due to brief power outage but scheduled a tech for that morning. After testing components of the furnace, some light cleaning,I was told my furnace was fine. While I thought the price was a bit high, it was worth it for the peace of mind. Larry and his crew have been my providers of choice for over 10 years and will continue to be in the future.

The techs replaced the heat pump and thermostat. later we noticed that there was ice forming on the pipes attached to the furnace. Called the company back.They sent out another tech, he found the problem and fixed it. then the thermostat wasn't working he replaced it. He also found that the line outside was leaking but the temps were to cold for him to permanently fix it. He did return in April to fix the leak . We have been very satisified with the Cental Indiana Cooling and Heating INC.

Called out orginally for service call on 24 yr old gas furnace in late winter... furnace repaired...quote given on new furnace.
Called for service in fall...furnace repaired and requested quotes. Decided to go with new unit. Scheduled, installed furnace and air conditioner. They were on time, courteous and knowledgable. Owner made inperson follow up house call answering our questions.
Customer service rep was friendly and more than willing to help with energy rebate questions.

They went ahead and replaced it before it wore out and next year I would have had to pay since it would not have been under warranty at that time. That was a $500 part that they took care of. They saved me money and did a fine job on a routine maninence check up.

I called at 8:00 am and asked if a service man could come look at my air conditioner.......it wasn't working. They asked if the time slot between 11:00 and 1:00 was convenient. I said yes, and the service man showed up at 12:00. Just as promised. He listened to what the unit was doing and told me it was the blower motor and he had one on the truck. He installed the new motor, checked it out and then accepted my Angies List coupon for 10% off parts. He was polite, neat and got my air conditioner working in record time.

The technician arrived within the time window that was estimated. He made a thorough check of the unit and found that it was operating within the factory specifications, but was shutting down due to a faulty over-temperature sensor. The sensor could not be replaced due to its location inside the compressor. I told him to bypass it and let us take our chances. He agreed as the unit is over twelve years old, and the worst that could happen is that it would have to be replaced anyway. The A/C ran fine all summer, and the heat is working now that the weather is cooler. I appreciate having the options presented to me by the repair tech, and letting me decide how to proceed, rather than just being sold a new unit.

I called them and they were out the next day. They could not fix the fan and need to get parts. They returned the next day and finished the repair. Everyone was happy.

They came out in mid - October. My heat bill was very high and my water heater wouldn't work unless you pressed the button every day. When they came out, they did some work, and never gave me a price. They found a bad sequencer. They ordered a new one and brought it out two days later. Things still weren't working. They came back in November to replace an upper thermostat. The next day it still didn't work, so I called back. They never gave me any bills or let me know what was under warranty. They just told me every time that Larry, the owner would call me. Finally in December, I got a bill for $548. None of what they did seemed to fix any of my problems. I've been calling for months and can't get a return call from the owner. They charged my credit card without my permission. The owner finally got in touch with me after I threatened him with reporting to Angie’s List, FDC and Better Business Bureau.

I HAD JUST MOVED INTO A 20-YEAR OLD HOME. THE INSPECTOR TOLD ME I WOULD NEED A NEW A/C AND FURNACE. CENTRAL INDIANA WAS HIRED TO REPLACE THE A/C UNIT. WITHOUT DISCUSSION WITH ME, THEY INSTALLED A 2-TON, 10 SEER, UNIT FOR $1800 WITHOUT CHECKING OR CLEANING THE COIL. A 10 SEER UNIT IS THE LEAST ENERGY EFFICIENT UNIT. WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN, I RECEIVED NO SATISFACTION. I DID NOT APPRECIATE BEING RELIGIOUSLY PREACHED TO BY THE SALESMAN, ONLY TO HAVE HIM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME BY SELLING A UNIT LESS THAN WHAT I NEEDED, JUST BECAUSE HE HAD "ONE UNIT REMAINING."

WE CALLED EXPECTING TO LEAVE A MESSAGE ON AN ANSWERING MACHINE. WE GOT THE OWNER, LARRY STONE. MY HUBBY EXPLAINED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. MR. STONE WALKED HIM THRU THE STEPS TO WIRE AROUND THE BROKEN PART UNTIL HE COULD COME BY ON SATURDAY. WE WERE WARM FOR THE NIGHT. A SERVICE TECH ARRIVED SATURDAY MORNING WITH THE PART NEEDED, FIXED IT QUICK THEN WAITED AROUND TO MAKE SURE THE FURNACE WORKED PROPERLY THRU A FEW CYCLE. TO MY SURPRISE, HE TOLD US SINCE WE HAD USED THEM BEFORE (ON THE AIR CONDITIONER) THAT THE COMPANY WOULD BILL US!

VERY POLITE. CALLED WHEN HE WAS ON HIS WAY. CAME DURING TIME SAID WOULD BE HERE. EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT HE DID. THEY MAINTAIN OUR 2 FURNACES, 2 AIR CONDITIONERS, AND 2 WATER HEATERS. THEY ARE VERY GOOD AND VERY RESPONSIVE.

THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS HE PUTS IN ARE NOT RIGHT AND NOT OF GOOD QUALITY. HE'S VERY SLOPPY AND VERY INDEPENDENT. HE USED TO COME OUT HIMSELF, BUT NOW HE SENDS OUT OTHERS THAT ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND DO NOT SEEM TO ME TO BE TRAINED OR QUALIFIED TO DO THE WORK.
