We have used Bradford Builders for several major projects over a period of 17 years. In the past they have added a family room and repaired damage from a leaky waterline in our laundry room. All of that work has held up well and we have had no problems with it as the years have passed. The current project has been done in stages, windows and outdoor work in October, master bath in November and hall bath in February. We didn't want construction during the holidays. Brad and Chuck listened to what we wanted and made it happen! They and the rest of the staff are professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They answered every question we had, explaining things well and making sure we knew what they were doing and why. Any problem that arose was discussed with us and the actions taken to resolve it were thoroughly explained. Chuck kept us aware of the associated costs with any changes we made. We knew up front what we were spending. I was home all day during the renovations and the guys were very considerate of me and of our home. They were fun to have around and worked hard too! We highly recommend Bradford Builders and will continue to do business with them.

We hired Bradford Builders to add on to our house. The addition increased our total square feet by 50%. It was a significant investment, but we chose the right builder. Bradford designed the addition for us, provided us with a detailed contract, and provided us with good explanations of the process before work started. When they opened up the side of our house to add on to it, they discovered it was framed differently than normal. Bradford made the necessary adjustments to account for it at no extra cost to us. They took care to minimize the disruption to our existing home with the addition, and completed the project by the targeted completion date. Bradford has a great reputation in the community for a reason. If you're thinking about adding on or remodeling, don't sign a contract until you've checked out Bradford.

We were very pleased with the plans and details Brad prepared which clearly outlined the costs. He gave us good advice about a source for our new cooktop and dishwasher, even giving us the name of a salesperson with whom he had worked. Both his employees and the subcontractors who worked in our house were on time and tried to keep things as clean as possible. The drywall installer was wonderful, as were the painters. The Tiffany Marble and Dr. Shower fabricators did very good work, as did the cabinet and shelf makers of Kline Cabinets. Their installers were excellent, too. Brad recommended Delta faucets, towel bars, grab bars, and shower fixtures, and we are delighted with them. Henry's Flooring recommended that we visit several Castleton-area tile suppliers, and we found tile that looks great. We are enjoying the beauty and function of the new fixtures and spaces immensely, and the process went very well.

Excellently. Even worked with us over a change after partial installation produced a measurement misunderstanding. We have them working on another project already and have used them for previous projects. They are very professional, courteous, punctual and clean up at end of each day. Would recommend highly at any time.

I had used Bradford Builders before for a large project that ended a couple of years ago (and was extremely happy with them), so was happy to use them again. Lots of positive things to say about vision (Brad is always helpful with helping you understand possibilities), preparation (they built a temporary fence to be sure my dog had plenty of safe space during the project), quality of work (excellent attention to detail and always completed to my satisfaction), staff (everyone on the staff is awesome to work with - they go above and beyond to make sure that you're informed about the project and happy with every detail), and customer satisfaction (Brad schedules multiple walk-through warranty visits and corrects anything that isn't exactly as you discussed it). I'll have to say that once my projects got started, I didn't have to worry about a single thing (who can say that about a large construction project?) and was delighted to not have to wonder whether the crew would show up and/or what quality of work would be done once they started. I would definitely use Bradford Builders again. Each project is like working with family.

We were preparing to host company for our daughter's wedding and told the contractor that we needed it done by a certain time. This was two months from the start date. They started on time and finished approximately a week before the end date and before the company arrived which gave us enough time to reorganize the kitchen and bath. They did have to finish the shoe mold the week of the wedding but we already had reset the house and it was done before anyone arrived. Apparently kitchens always present problems and we had a few, but they were all corrected in a timely manner. All of the construction workers were friendly and open to our suggestions and worked around us when needed. We were without a kitchen for about 6 weeks, but I lost 10 pounds eating out and using the microwave in the den. Everything looks great and all of our guests were very impressed with the changes.

We wanted to replace our front door with an arts and crafts style door. We were having trouble deciding if a solid wood door was the way to go, who to purchase it from, how to get the right door, etc.
we called Brad Arthur at Bradford builders and he was able to walk us through the whole process. With his help we evaluated the pros and cons of all the door types, the materials, the handles and locks, etc. Brad measured everything, had it installed very professionally, and guaranteed the work for one full year. I liked the fact he told us his fee was $1000, he showed us all the invoices for items purchased, etc. About nine months after the door was installed we needed a new door sweep on the bottom of the door and the threshold adjusted. This work was completed quickly and pleasantly.

When we were married my wife said that she always wanted a sunroom with big windows that we could use all year long. It is all brick. They did everything on time with notice of every step. They used all Pella windows which Bradford Builders has recently installed in the whole house.
