When the provider arrived, he was able to get our furnace running by doing some cleaning and maintenance, but diagnosed the overall issue as a bad inducer motor. They did not have one on hand so it had to be ordered and they would be back in a couple days to replace. I took off work to be home at noon. He did not show up until the evening (when I would have been home from work anyhow). He said he did not have everything he needed and had to reschedule for the following Saturday. Someone was supposed to reach out to me and never did. No one showed on Saturday, still no call. Monday, I called and left a message. I was called on Wednesday and they scheduled an appointment for December 30th at noon, I had to take off work again. At 12:30, I received a call saying the guy would be here at 2. At 2:30, no one had shown up so I called them. I was then told the guy would not be here til 5 because they put someone ahead of me. At 5:45, I called them again and was told the guy was on his way and would arrive in twenty minutes. He showed up after 7. The guy spent an hour in the garage and then came in and said he had the wrong part and would be back first thing in the morning with the correct part. I asked him if he was sure, because of the trouble we had already had, and he said "I guarantee it." No one called or showed. I left another message and never heard back from them. Because this company was under contract with our Home Warranty, we did not have the choice to go with someone else. A couple weeks later, I finally called the warranty company. This prompted Air-Pros to call me and she asked me if I was having trouble with the furnace they had fixed for me. I informed her they never fixed the furnace. She advised me that she had been out on medical leave and her replacement had messed up lots of thing but she would send someone out. New tech arrived with the same part that the previous tech advised was the wrong part. He said it was the right part, but he had to modify it to fit our unit. He performed the work and got the piece fixed. The communication and scheduling was awful, but when they actually did the work it seemed fine.

It went well. Frank arrived on time. He diagnosed and handled the problem efficiently. He even gave me a crash course on air conditioning. He was great! We were very pleased with this experience.

They are very through and very friendly. They work with you as far as setting a service date. I use them all the time for anything. I am very pleased with their service.  For punctuality, nobody is punctual.

I would love to give them 6 stars if I could. JR is more than just a professional, he really truly cares about his customers. Air-Pros came out to fix our A/C last spring and did a wonderful job. Actually, the initial visit didn't get the issue fixed, but they were very good about getting back out and making it right - and not at my expense. That's just life, not everything works the first time. What makes great customer services is how you deal with issues like this, and they were wonderful. I should have done a review then, but didn't. Today JR was back out to look at our furnace that wouldn't start. Found the issue quickly, fixed it and refused to let me pay for the visit. They certainly will always get any of my business, and I will highly recommend them to our neighbors, family and friends. Quality work from quality people!

First, my impression of this company has changed 100% since last week's review I wrote. The owner JR was supposed to do the work on the ceiling. He agreed to that. However, he was out unexpectedly. However, I was not told that. Someone else was sent. Messy, messy job. The employee in the office Alissa (I think its her name) acted like she cared about the miscommunication that JR was supposed to be there, and she didn't tell me he was out. I had sent a text to JR after the job, and told him I expected he would not be cashing the check because of the messy work. He said fine on a text back to me yesterday. I sent an email to Air-pros about my experience, and Alissa called me. She could not have been any ruder. She told me the job had been completed, and I had to pay. I told her the owner told me on a text I did not have to. In her rude, loud voice her last words were"don't ever contact us again" and HUNG UP on me. I text the owner, and told him I was going to write this review. He thanked me for this bad review.

I wrote the previous review and would like to clarify what happened.
After calling the company the other day, JR the owner called back within the next hour (or even less) and inquired about the issue. He apologized for the improper treatment and promised to come out personally today (I.e. Two days later) to clean up furnaces and make sure everything was running smoothly.
He was here on time, and went out of his way to offer the best service.
Briefly, this company has a great service, but apparently the person who is responsible for scheduling is new and lacks experience and sometimes manners.I suggest that you ask to talk to JR or to Mary whenever you get an inappropriate reply over the phone; because the service they provide is worth by-passing the person who answers the phone.

The AirPro team was great.  JR, the owner, came out to give us a quote and was very conscious about our budget.  He was incredibly helpful in using regular people language to explain what needed to be done, what needs to happen to bring things up to current code, and exactly what to expect on install day.  We called AirPro for an estimate on a Friday and he was able to come out that same day, but he was unable to get us on the install schedule until Wednesday.  This was really the only downside, but we felt that his expertise and pricing made up for the time we had to wait.  We would use them again without hesitation.

They came out and determined the issue but had to wait more than a week for the product to come in and was outside the time frame they had originally quoted us and the home warranty company we had to go through for the repair. We only used this company because we were forced to. I wouldn't use them for other projects going forward. Their prices may be below others, but their service doesn't make it worth it.

They came out under our home warranty when we purchased our new home. They made the air conditioner work again, but a few months later (after warranty was over), we had our normal company come out. It was then that we found out Air Pros should have known from how low the fluid was when they were out, that there was more of a problem than just needing more fluid.

After being told by another HVAC company that we needed a new very expensive system, Air-Pros came out under our home warranty and was about to troubleshoot the problem.  It was very minor and there was absolutely no need for another system.  We have signed an annual service contract with them due to their responsiveness, honesty and experience.

I called Air-Pros originally to get second estimate for New all electric HVAC system.  I was interested in comparing the American Standard systems with the Bryant system I was previously quoted by another vendor.  Setting up the appointment was a breeze and JR, the Air Pro representative, arrived on time in a well marked truck and clean uniform.  I was very pleasantly surprised at his continued focus on customer service and satisfaction.  He took the time to review the pros and cons of the various levels of HVAC systems.  To my surprise he recommended for my situation a less expensive system.  There was no pressure to make a decision on the spot.  When JR left he contacted American Standard and procured an additional discount for me.  I decided for a number of reasons (quality, warranty, customer service) to go with the Air Pro system.
The Air Pro staff was able to schedule the install within a week of my order (there was no deposit required).  The crew arrived on time and completed the job within the proscribed time.  They went to extra effort to ensure the units (Heat Pump & Air Handler/electric furnace) were installed properly, sealed well, and were aesthetically pleasing.  The left the work area very clean.
I am very pleased with the new system and can hardily recommend Air-Pros of Fortville/Greenfield.

It was a pleasure working with Air Pros.  I might sound like I have a personal interest in their company, but I really don't.  I plan on using them for all my HVAC needs going forward.



Prior to calling Air Pros for a second opinion on my A/C, I had contacted another company (Service Plus) that was highly rated on Angie's List, but my experience with them was horrible.  They were more interested in selling me a new unit for almost $7000 than in repairing my unit, and they pressured me to decide right away.  Specifically, the tech stated that if I signed for a new unit that day, he could install it the next day; however, if I waited it might be long time before they could get me back on the schedule.  (Keep in mind it was 88 degrees and humid in the house with no A/C).  They said that if I didn't replace the unit, I needed $5112 in repairs that they would not guarantee (yes, they put the "no guarantee" in writing), so I might as well replace the unit.

Not wanting to spend that much nor decide on the spot, I contacted Air Pros for a second opinion.

They came out and found the exact same problems, and they repaired them for $290.  It's been 2 weeks now and everything is working great.  The tech was polite and explained everything to me throughout the process.

I HIGHLY recommend Air Pros to anyone needing A/C repair.
