West Central Contracting

I had West Central Contractors come out to fix a roof that was dripping water down the exterior of a small part of my house, discoloring the bricks. They came out and told me I needed not gutters all around my roof, though this had nothing to do with the problem or what I asked for. I went ahead and put the new gutters on. They disappeared. I then called them back to fix the roof problem, which they did. However, a year later I have water leaking on the inside of the house in the very area they worked. It does not take a rocket scientist to discern that they caused the problem. I now have mold. They refused to fix the problem. Very dishonest.

Our neighbor hood consists of 42 buildings with a total of 76 units.  While the Homeowners Association Board contracted with West Central on behalf of the Association, West Central still had to deal with each individual homeowner when working directly on their unit.

Not sure if West Central had previously handled as large of a project as this one.  We had a few problems in the beginning.  West Central was good at trying to deal with each individual homeowner, if they had a complaint about their work.   

The work began in November 2012.  The major work was finished up in late 2013.  However, there was still some follow up work to be completed.  Getting West Central back out here to finish up the follow work was a problem.  West Central was kept informed via email and voice of the follow up work needed.  West Central would show up at the various residences without first calling to schedule a time.  Many times, no one was at home, so the follow up wasn't completed.  We kept telling them to schedule appointments so that our resident could be at home.   

All follow up work was completed during January or February of 2014.  

We are now having a slight problem of a few shingles lifting up in high wind.  West Central has been contacted and attempted repair, but the problem still exists.  We are still in contact with West Central to cure the problem.

I was very satisfied with their services.

Framed a new opening in a basement wall for steel french door and then  installed the door. Excellent work and very helpful as well a good price. Contemplating using them again for the next job if the price is right.

We had hail damage to our roof and had gotten a referral from a friend in Avon for West Central Contracting. Derrick came to out house to go over everything prior to setting everything up. He is very responsive when contacting him and also kept us informed. He is very familiar with the red tape involved with dealing with insurance companies and banks. His crew showed up timely and completed the job to our satisfaction. Did a great job cleaning up after the roofing job was finished. Would highly recommend Derrick Ward and West Central Contracting.

Great!!!  Without a doubt a good contractor who sees that his work is to near perfection.
