Needed to move newly restored antique Steinway from restorer in MD to home in FL. The restorer recommended Walter Piano Transport. Ariel was helpful and patient about explaining everything. Quoted $1445 which my restorer said was a good price. Walter Piano Transport does all the long hauling and gets local movers for pickup and delivery. It went as planned except the piano picked up a couple of dings along the way. I reported this to Ariel upon delivery. He asked for pictures, then allowed me the time to find a good refinisher to fix it. When the work was done, I submitted the bill ($225) and Walter Piano Transport instantly sent a check to reimburse me for it. To recap, they're good to work with, charged me a good price and stood behind their guarantee. In the real world, stuff sometimes happens, and if it does these guys will take care of it rather than try to wriggle out. Heartily recommend.
