Lake Effect Heating and Air

Do not use Lake Effect - zero response and my newly installed AC still doesn't work despite reaching out through all means of communication since March (it's now 7/6/25). They will not even call back - completely MIA.

Service was quick, efficient and the team is very responsive. I would recommend and will use them in the future.

The job was done properly. Unfortunately, it appears the leak was larger then we thought and the problem occurred two weeks later.

They did a great and very thorough job and didn't nickel-and-dimed. They did everything from checking the vents topping up the Freon, and even washing the cotton weed out of the unit and the price was a lot lest costly than the people I had hired a couple years before who didn't do anywhere near as thorough a job

Called Lake Effect and they came out the same day. Excellent service, didn't try to sell anything not needed. James explained issue and was very thorough testing and fixing. Furnace and is working great now.

They were reliable , price great and their timing is awesome did a spectacular job .

The technician took the time to explain, in terms I could understand, what he was doing and why. He also explained the in and out and care and feeding of a boiler and hot water system so I would not unintentionally screw it up in my ignorance.

Other contractors (not from Home Advisor) wanted double the price for service call. Lake Effect Heating and Air arrived on schedule and stayed until the job was done. I am very satisfied with the work they did (my heating boiler wouldn't stay lit, it required new valve and cleaning of the pilot assembly)

I listed on HomeAdvisor and had a call from Scott at Lake Effect Heating & Air within 10 minutes of my post. Talked to Scott on Tuesday late; he was at my house Wednesday afternoon. On time; super nice guy; told me a lot of facts about the A/C unit that I didn't know, and completed the work within about an hour. Good & fair pricing from what I found from other companies. Would definitely recommend. Great customer service.
