Hyde's Renovate Right

We had used Jake previously on smaller jobs such as rebuilding our closets upstairs. The workmanship was fantastic and it turned out exactly how we wanted. He used Tim Birkmeier for a lot of the tear out and rebuilding of the floor and tiling. He oversaw all of the work for us. The cost was very reasonable.  He is always on time and arrives exactly at the time of appointment. He brought everything together and the job went very well.

Jake and his guys built some wide wooden steps out of treated lumber, up to our large front porch. We had large cement steps that were original to the house, and they were going to be very costly to remove, so I asked Jake if we could simply take notches out of the cement for the wood stringers, and build the steps over the cement stairs.  He calculated how to do that,  and the three or four men (can't remember which) had it mostly done in one day, and they worked hard the whole time, cleaned up when they were done and were very professional.  We're really happy with the whole thing, and we get compliments on it all the time.
The price was comparable to a few other quotes we got, and significantly less than some other quotes we got. Jake was clearly competent and he was communicative through the whole process. I never had any trouble reaching him if I had questions.

The work done by Hyde's Renovate Right came out very good. He doesn't necessarily do all the work himself, but he coordinated the work well and it all went very smooth. He was proactive in dealing with any issues that came up. Anything I asked for, he was more than willing to do. It was good customer service. The workmanship was good. I'm happy and it's a quality job. The job went on for longer what I expected, but I was okay with that. Some of the reasons it was delayed were also because of my own issues.
