We have a couple of sayings around the shop. One of them is "the only time we say No to a customer is when it's followed by the word Problem...NO PROBLEM". The other one is "When was the last time your maintenance man treated you like a customer?" When you partner with Facility Maintenance USA we will never draw a line in the sand. We understand the dynamics of the customer relationship and your expectations when dealing with your Facility Maintenance needs. We always look at the big picture and view everything through the eyes of you, our customer. When Facility Maintenance USA performs Facility Maintenance Services for you we always have your best interest at heart. We are your fiduciary and we act accordingly.

"I met an electrician at the house I was buying to get a quote to get an electrical box moved. When they came back to the house to do work for the seller they moved the box without giving me a quote or discussing it with me. In addition they left a real mess such as holes in the wall...etc. they then charged me $610. Bottom line they did work I never agreed to ha e them do."

Awnings questions, answered by experts

Acrylic, polyester, and vinyl are common options. Choose based on durability, UV resistance, and style.

Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.

Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.

An awning can last anywhere from five to 15 years and even longer sometimes. The life span of an awning depends on several factors, from its construction materials to the design and who installed it. Regular maintenance is also important here. Weather conditions also impact the life span of an awning. Choose high-quality materials and stay on top of maintenance tasks to extend longevity.

Clean regularly with mild soap and water, and retract during severe weather to prevent damage.

If you're handy, it might be worth trying to install retractable awnings yourself. Just keep in mind that motorized retractable awnings require much more know-how, and the risk of something costly going wrong (such as damaging your new awnings) is higher.

Mechanical awnings should be easy to install for the average person with some handyman skills.
