Bates Mechanical’s team (Larry, Greg, Matt & Kain) did a WONDERFUL JOB!!! I was incredibly impressed! Very efficient and the work quality was top notch!!

During install the installers discovered that my ducts in my crawlspace were not hooked up. They did this at cost since they missed it, and I only had to pay for materials, which was very nice of them.

Very nice company to work with, local and family owned. Thorough assessment of my house. I consulted with several companies; this was the only company that assessed the role of my existing duct work (oversized, un-insulated, 1950 vintage) as a function of the end result of heating/cooling my Cape Cod style home. Rec was to downsize and insulate the duct work and slightly increase the tonnage of the furnace. Job was able to be scheduled within a week, crew arrived on time and completed the job within the day. The house is much more comfortable, the middle quality (96% efficiency) has resulted in lower utility costs, and the total cost of the job, including the duct work, was substantially less than other companies' estimates for similar system replacement alone. I will also have them maintain the system twice a year. Highly recommend Bates Mechanical!

These guys are awesome! Gregg. the owner, came out and gave us the estimate. He was very thorough and would explain everything he was looking at and doing, which I appreciated. More importantly he was very nice and very professional. The guys that came out, Matt, Tom, and Kane, were equally as nice and professional. They were quick, courteous, clean, and quite. The equipment looks great as well, they did an awesome job installing everything!! I’m really glad that I went with these guys because I can’t imagine there’s too many company’s out there like this one. A+

The team of 2 installers did a great job. Very professional, on time, removed very old unit and installed new heat pump. Cleaned up completely when done.

They did a great job all in one whole day. They stayed until dusk until the worked was done and offered to bring heaters to keep us warmed.

They came when scheduled.  One of our team members was a member of the Bates family, and they were both very professional, kind and considerate.  They worked through lunch and the system was removed and installed all in the same day.  Would highly recommend this team.

They arrived exactly when they said they would and immediately started working.   All workers were courteous and took care to lay down rugs to keep flour clean.   Work was completed in one day with the exception of replacing a regulator (which was an unexpected issue).   The regulator was replaced on the next work day as was promised.   They are an exceptional company!

They did a wonderful job and got it done quickly.  They took the old furnace out and cleaned up afterwards.  They were honest with me about everything as well.  Overall, I just had a really pleasant experience.

They are excellent. They are good people. They clean up, they do what they say they are going to do.

They could not fix my problem; they did not come up with a solution and I had to get another organization to get the issue resolved. I will definitely not use them again in the future.

AC shut down in the heatwave. I called on Saturday morning and Ed was out by early afternoon. He diagnosed a couple of problems, fixed them quickly, explained what he was doing, and was on his way. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. It was a great service visit.

They are very highly rated on Angie's List, and every bit of that is correct. They were very professional, efficient and very accurate on their estimate. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

The guy that comes out is great! He offered advice on other projects I need to tackle as well. They respond very quickly in an emergency. I’ve had nothing but good luck with them!
