we hired this company to install a patio. He told us it would take 3 to 5 days. Instead, it took over two months, he did not complete it, and he sued us when we refused to make the final payment for the incomplete work. He also did not pay his subcontractors who began calling us trying to collect. He did not excavate the site deep enough or properly, the sealer and color has come off of the entire area, we have cracks and collapsed steps, and damage to our personal property.

Everything was fantastic! We are very happy with the process and the results. We are looking forward to hiring them again for a walkway in the front.

Nick (owner) came to the house to give us an estimate of the project. He was very professional, asked a lot of questions, listened to what we had to say (our desires and concerns), made a number of suggestions, asked a lot more questions, told us what he would use (material) and how he would construct the patio and then asked a lot more questions. Nick and his Dad arrived at 8:00 AM on the day he had scheduled us to start the project and got right into it. He had a dumpster delivered a few days prior to his start and began to load all of the wood from the deck we tore out prior to his start date. Nick said the project would take 2 weeks and it did; to the day. We ran into a few snags during the process but, Nick and his Dad handled them without a problem and WITHOUT A PRICE CHANGE. Unlike many small contractors that get you hooked by starting your project and then after a couple of days give you some excuse as to why they can not come for the next few days (or just don't show up) while they go off and start or finish another project (OR BOTH), NICK AND HIS DAD WERE HERE EVERY DAY 10 to 12 HOURS A DAY UNTIL THE JOB WAS COMPLETE. Nick also PLACED EVERY STONE HIMSELF. HE EVEN GOT MY WIFE INVOLVED NUMEROUS TIMES TO HELP DECIDE WHICH SIDE OF THE STONE PIECES SHE LIKED BETTER (which took time), SOMETHING HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO AT ALL. Along with our patio Nick and his Dad also did a few small 'handyman' projects for us and again DID NOT CHANGE HIS PRICE OR CHARGE US IN ANY WAY. The patio looks magnificent (800 sq. ft.). I have been involved with contractors in the past and NONE HAVE BEEN AS HONEST, AS QUALITY ORIENTED, SO COMMUNICATIVE, SO PUNCTUAL, AND SO CUSTOMER ORIENTED AS NICK While Nick was not the least expensive he certainly was not the most expensive. The old adage of "you get what you pay for" most definitely applies in this case. We most certainly will use Nick in the future and we have already contacted him to replace our old fence with a new one. I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW ENJOYABLE IT WAS TO WORK WITH NICK AND HIS DAD. If you are considering a major project on your property or one that you are responsible for I would urge you to contact Patio Scapes and speak with Nick Weir an individual who still understands what the word INTEGRITY means.

Excellent. Not only do I have a bigger patio, creativity was used to incorporate a stone wall garden.
