It went well, but the car was finished a day later than expected. I understand that they are a small business and do not have the staff or the resources to provide IMMEDIATE service like a nationwide service provider like Firestone. BUT, Firestone would have probably charged me double what Newkirk's did. I truly appreciate the option to pay less (generally for better service)... even if I sometimes have to wait for it. My husband and I worked around the delay and it was only a minor inconvenience.
WE LOVE NEWKIRK'S. They help us keep our older cars running and running and running. The best car is one that's PAID OFF. :)

They're great. They have fair comparable prices. They do great work and they stand behind. They always try to work with the customer whenever possible as far as schedule. It's an old gas station so it doesn't look pretty but they get the job done. I've already recommended them to probably 20 people.

This company was great to work with for brake/rotor replacement. They got us in pretty quickly and called us along the way to authorize the charges and explain the issues. We do not feel that we were overcharged at all! They were very professional and customer focused!

Initial estimate was $450. They found a thermostat and hose leak, repaired that, flushed the system, put new antifreeze in and winterized it for $124. Solved the problem.
