The service went great. The technicians have been wonderful to work with and do great work. I had no problem scheduling the service. They made sure to call to let me know a service they were doing was taking longer than expected and they would be running late. They have a monthly plan available for them to do a plumbing inspection, empty the hot water heater, do an electrical inspection and come out for 2 maintenance checks a year for $9 a month.

OK. They were very professional and did the work we asked. I thought the price was way too high for what little work had to be done. From now on, for the small jobs that were done, I will do them myself. I would recommend them if someone asked but I would warn them of their high prices.

Older home. Had sparks from circuit breaker box and tripping circuits. Responded quickly, came out the next morning. Very outdated electrical and had to replace entire circuit box on main level and another smaller one upstairs and update to code. Very professional, crew completed the work the very next day. Able to set up a 18 month no interest plan. Did not replace/repair the drywall next to the circuit breaker box, left a 1 ft x 1 ft hole in the wall for us.

This is from work done several years ago now, but I still thought I
would share. We had a problem with a light switch and outlet. We were
also having problems with our water heater. We call and they send an
electrician out. He fixed the plug and light switch for ~$300 which
seemed expensive, but ok. He wasn't a plumber and tinkered around with
our electric panel and stuff, but didn't fix the water heater problem.
We would have to have a plumber from their company come out. Ok still
doing ok, but a little annoyed that they didn't send the person to solve
our real problem with the water heater. Water heater is under warranty
still, but it of course doesn't cover labor. My wife is home when the
plumber comes (they were actually very punctual). I psuedo diagnosed
the problem the night before with google and told her to say I thought
it was the lower thermostat going bad. Plumber says it is the heating
coil which made no sense because the water would get really hot and then
trip the cutoff from the upper thermostat and next morning the water
would be cold. I talk to the guy on the phone say I think it is the
lower thermostat...no he thinks it is the heating coil and replaces
that. Wake up next morning with cold water and breaker flipped again.
Call back to have them come back out (Oh yeah we are at $650ish
now...almost new water heater). Now miraculously it is the lower
thermostat and they want another $250ish to replace. We call the
manager. He tells us that the technician told my wife we should have
just replaced the whole water heater since it was 4 years old. Also
says that since the technician came out the day before the lower
thermostat went out and that it wasn't the problem from the start.
After many calls, arguing, and a trip to the actual place where the
manager worked we were able to get the water heater miraculously
replaced and quot;under warrantyand quot; without any more charges...note we had
basically paid for a new one at this point anyway. Totally new plumber
comes this time since we were furious with the other person who had
come. Installed new water heater no problem. Until I looked at the
water heater he brought and installed. I did not argue anymore at this
point, but they had taken our 4 year old 50 gallon water heater and
replaced it with a new 40 gallon one. Needless to say we will never,
ever, ever use Mr Quik again for anything. They were quick to arrive
and take our money is about all I can say. It was the most horrible
experience we have had with a company.

They did very well. He took photos of my old fuse box for my insurance company and said he would even fax them for me. Justin was always on time, very respectful, explained everything to me and I was very pleased with him.

I was having a number of problems with outlets and called mr. Quik to repair them. I have used this company In the past for plumbing and HVAC and found them to prompt and reliable. Because I was anxious to get the problem fixed I allowed myself to be talked into a complete overhaul of three electrical panels that were only 25 years old. I regret that I didn't take a few extra days to get other estimates which I'm sure would have been cheaper. Anyway, they did the work quickly the same day. Two days later I discovered they had incorrectly wired a GFI outlet resulting in the failures of an outlet in my garage--unfortunately the outlet that my chest freezer is attached to!!! they came back out and fixed it but by then the damage was done. After talking to various home inspectors, realtors and other service people About the cost of the panel replacement I realized I had paid a ridiculously inflated price. The work came with a lifetime guarantee but that was not offered as an option--it was a given . After comparing prices with other people in the industry, i asked Mike, the electrical department supervisor, for a breakdown of the parts and labor for the work they did and only after calling 3-4 times to request the information did I finally get something in the mail with no more detail than the original quote. I had previously thought this was a reputable company but after this experience I don't have confidence that they are interested in helping their customers get a satisfactory outcome at a honest price. I do not recommend them.

Mike, from Mr. Quick was great. On time, knowledgeable, polite, and very helpful in general.
Price for my troubleshooting I thought was ok.
The quote given to rewire the two panels and increase my house feed was complete and solid from a work perspective... bringing everything up to code... and I didn't feel like he was overselling what needed to be done, however, the price he quoted was VERY high.
I had a second company come out and quote the same work for about half the price. (No, I did not start off by sharing my Mr. Quick quote with them) The second company was a very reputable one that I found here on Angie's list.
When Mr. Quick quoted, he pulled out a laminated sheet with and quot;standard pricesand quot; for jobs... they didn't seem to be flexible based on difficulty of the job/etc... unfortunately, they didn't get my business.
Summary: Great person, very qualified, good work, expensive.

The representative we dealt with from Mr. Quik was Ben Melvin. He went the extra mile to work with not only us but our insurance as well (work completed was part of an insurance claim). All workers from Mr. Quik were prompt and professional, including their call dispatch/center. Mr. Melvin was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

Technician did a great job of working with me to determine the cause of the circuit breaker failure. Tried several options until we found the outside lights on the same circuit as the bathroom were causing the short. Replaced the breaker in our very outdated box with parts available and had everything working in less than hour. Was at our home when promised. Very courteous and informative.

It went exceptionally well. He found the reason our electricity to our refrigerator kept kicking it off and fixed the problem. He was friendly, and professional. We will definitely use them again if needed and recommend them to our friends.

It's a TRANE equipment and the equipment is absolutely wonderful. Mr. Quik, I would probably not endorse anybody use him. They had trouble with technicians; it;s a fairly larger heating and air conditioner company and also do plumbing and electricity also in this area. It seemed like every time we had an issue a different technician came out, so there was no continuation. We had to explain the new guy what was going on. From day one of the installation, they've had problems. We've probably had no less than thirty service calls for all kinds of issues. They did such things as install components backwards, did not completely install, etc. One time they used the old wiring for the old furnace and it wasn't adequate and was causing problems, and they finally figured that out, after two or three visits, that the problem was they should have used brand new wiring. We are still not resolved, in terms of all the issues; they still have not addressed all of the problems we have. The equipment is working right, but we think they might have used the wrong units for the house. We are not absolutely certain on that, but it doesn't take the humidity out in the summer time like they said. They cooled the house pretty well but it's still fairly humid. So the experts, everybody thinks that they might be over-sized for the house so it doesn't run long enough to take the humidity out and that it only cools the air.

The company promotes great savings. We even had a coupon for $69 towards the service fee. The guys came out here and immediately tried to sell us a service contract. He immediately started a sales pitch before the work was started. He was going to charge us $330 for a so called diagnostics less the $69. After we were quoted this amount I told him I didn’t want to pay him the $330 because I thought it was too expensive he then advised me I would have to pay the $69 as a service fee. We wound up paying for the trip because we didn’t use their service. He left circuit box open when he left and the wires exposed which added a safety hazard. I feel the coupon was misleading and we had to pay them and they didn’t do any work.

I had a friend from church come over that used to work for PSI and all he had to do was reset the circuit breaker.
