The initial phone call went well and was very promising about what we could do on our property site unseen and how if we got our neighbors hooked up too we could get free internet. Tyson, the owner, left it to me to find out what the county guidelines would be to install a TV tower. When I called him back to go over the county guidelines he was sure that we wouldn't need a tower greater than 80ft since Morgan County doesn't have trees that tall. I told him we had one taken out that was over 100ft tall and he didn't believe me. He also spoke about the effort and cost required to get the tower depended on how desperate we were. I was confused about his lack of professionalism and condescending attitude but just said OK lets find out what we have, please go forward with the estimate. He required a $1500 deposit which we sent the next day by credit card. He wasn't nearly as interested in this process as the first phone call. He spent less than an hour at the house and didn't tell me anything. He left and I received the estimate a week later than he said he would send it. The estimate spoke of a 96ft tower (note >80ft) and it also listed strong issues/problems he saw with putting it up and maintaining it because of our dense tree cover. I could tell he was less than interested in doing this job. His most recent business newsletter spoke of equipment issues because of this year's high corn crop and tree growth so I figured the $8K would be better spent with a more reliable set-up. On Sept 12th I sent an email stating that because of his concerns on the outcome that we did not want to go further and I requested the refund and he said that I would see it on my CC next billing cycle. I've called to ask about the delay and I can get no details. It is Oct 17th and I am still waiting for our refund. Next step BBB.
