Very good service and the price was quite competetive.

In the past everything was fine.  This year I have had troubles getting them to return phone calls and to come do the fertilzation treatments in a timely fashion.  They were so late with my first lawn treatment (crab grass killer) that Don mentioned (after multiple unreturned phone calls) skipping it.   I insisted.  My next service was weeks late and only after I called multiple times.  I have not heard anything since June.  I was figured that because of the drought I might miss a treatment.  I called simply to inquire about how the process would continue, but unfortunately my two phone calls have not been returned.  When I tried to call a little while ago, I got a message that this individual is not accepting calls.  I am glad that I did not pay in advance this year.  I pity those individuals who are trying to either get their money back or actually get the services they paid for.  I am done with this company.  I am calling someone else on Angie's List for service.

We moved to a new house and inherited a weedy, poorly kept lawn. We arranged lawn care services with another company and they no-showed us and then came late and then no-showed again. We were given the name of this company by a neighbor and they were prompt, professional, polite and very knowledgeable. The owner himself came (he heard of our bad experience) out within a few days. They set reasonable expectations and have been right on time, every time. Lawn is looking pretty good (right up until the drought).

They charge $60 for every treatment.  Everything went fine.  I would have liked to see a faster reaction, but I guess my lawn is pretty bad.

They are the only one we use.  We are still using them.  Their service is excellent.  Dave is an excellent fellow.  He gives us any advice even for us to do after he has come and gone for us to follow through with me, in the mean time before he returns.  The price is just phenomenal.  It is the fee that we will spend.  They will come out in fall and spring preparing for the winter and summer.  What he offers is even more than $100 worth.  He answers all kind of my silly questions like "What kind of weed is that?."

The latest use was on a new home in Greenwood area; but I had used them for about four years at a previous home in Avon. I found the owner and his workers to be very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and timely. They always did what they said they would do and often went above and beyond. For example, they noticed that my yard needed some overseeding and did so with some top-notch seed they had with them at no cost to me.

They were our lawn care company for several years. At first, they were wonderful--responsive when we had a lawn problem, helpful, service done with care. As time went on, fertilizing was careless, with pellets left on the driveway and walk. Weeds popped up in our front yard, and calls were not returned. Services we had signed up for were not done on time.

Don is the guy who did the lawn service for us. I love him and he is my buddy. His price was competitive. I would definitely use his services in the future too.

It was raining the day Don was scheduled to come out and perform our free lawn analysis. Instead, he called and we reviewed services on the phone. He then came out the next day and walked around the yard with me. He was professional and thorough in his description of our lawn and the services he recommended. I appreciated that he did not try to talk us into numerous treatements. Instead, he recommended less frequent applications to protect the grass from burnout.

I called for the free estimate, but the individual who took my information accidentally did not take my full phone number, preventing a call back. The owner of this company was so extremely helpful and professional, however, that he actually came to my house to set up a future appointment in person. This is the type of professionalism that we as customers deserve. A week and half later, the first treatment was applied to my lawn. I do not have a single weed in my lawn. Everywhere I look other people have dandylions gallore, but not my lawn. It is coming in thicker after only one treatment. I am excited to see how it is going to look after a full year of treatments. I would highly recommend this company.

Greenwood provides lawn (chemical) services for many of the yards in my neighborhood. I was particularly impressed when my next door neighbor's yard started to surpass my yard in appearance and vitality. Realizing that my neighbor moved in months after me (i.e. brand new yard that was just starting), I called Greenwood to have them assess my yard. They responded quickly and came out and provided me with a quote. I've had three treatment cycles so far and my yard looks fabulous! An added bonus, which speaks to the customer service oriented nature of their business, Greenwood provides a lawn care newsletter update to customers to further educate us on what is happening with our lawn - absolutely GREAT!

The quality of the products he uses get us compliments throughout the neighborhood. People say we have the best looking lawn.
