Everything went perfectly! Dale was extremely responsive to my needs and took the time to work with a novice like me and explain the entire process in detail from start to finish of my projects. I would highly recommend Dale Hughes Interior Design to anyone considering doing some redecorating, new builds, or remodeling. Worth every cent!

The entire process went unbelievably smooth. From the very beginning of deciding paint colors through to the hanging on artwork ... I was in awe at how smoothly it all went. Dale also helped with every step of my kitchen remodel project. We are completely happy with the ideas/selections that Dale chose for our project. We will definitely be using his services again & highly recommend him to anyone considering hiring an interior designer.

The process went very well. It entailed a lot of work as the bathrooms were complete tear outs. Dale offered great advice on achieving the look we wanted. In instances where there was a problem, such as the tile was no longer available, he quickly stepped in and made recommendations that were compatible with the existing choices. Equally important, Dale's group of subcontractors have his same exacting standards on the process. They ensured that their work was done correctly and on time. Months after the job was completed, there is nothing that I would have changed over the initial work.

Just finished a large home remodeling project with Dale Hughes Interiors. It is the second time we have used Dale, and we are thrilled with the results of both projects. Our most recent project was a complete kitchen remodel along with hardwood flooring throughout the downstairs. We also re-stoned the fireplace and replaced a built-in cabinet in the Great Room. Just as in the first remodel project (master bath), Dale quickly determined our taste and lifestyle and helped us make us make wise decisions on each piece of the remodel. He helped us select cabinets, hardware, plumbing fixtures, granite counter tops, stone back splash, lighting, wood flooring and window treatments. He worked with each of the contractors and suppliers to be sure the final product was exactly what we wanted. At the end of the project, he helped us with placing home furnishings and decorations to complement the project –using our art and family keepsakes. We could not have been happier with the result and think that Dale’s services added great value. We would definitely use Dale again and recommend him to others.

I am extremely pleased with the outcome of Dale's design advice and recommendations.  He was very professional and easy to work with, listened to my opinions and concerns, offered multiple or alternative options, and worked within my budget constraints.  I appreciated his collaborative approach to the project.  I always found him accessible and responsive, with timely meetings and quick responses by phone, email or texts.  His knowledge and judgment of colors, textures, styles, and layouts is excellent.  His contractor team was dependable and does quality work. The savings from his designer discounts nearly paid for his fees!  I highly recommend Dale for major remodeling projects.

It started out well and with excitment! Things slowed down as DALE'S subcontractors got busy. Wish we could have had it all done before our move-in date but it didn't work out that way. So we shuffled boxes from room-to-room for weeks until done. PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE!!! It ALL turned out beautiful in their end!!! Would we do it all over again? YES, but ONLY WITH DALE HUGHES INTERIORS!!!

In addition to the design, he served us in a capacity very like a project manager. He helped us deal with the contractors and make sure that everything was done to our specifications. I would not hesitate to use him again, he's done very well for us. Looking back, if we'd known him when we were doing other remodeling projects, we would have liked to have used Dale.

It went as expected. I assumed a remodel always runs into snags as you are not starting anew and you cannot always control vendors. Dale always listened to my our concerns and worked to develop a reasonable solution.

Dale's services were worth the money because he helped save so much time by finding reputable vendors, gathering quotes and giving me a couple of good options for me to choose from. I observed that Dale is good at learning a customer's interior decorating taste and tailoring options to that taste. He listens to you. He also does not push replacing everything in a remodel. He will listen to how much you want to keep vs. change.

Dale. is very good at color choices and how to coordinate things. Many times i did not go with his first choice but he would get me thinking in a certain direction and then would be able to give me feedback on if my choice fit into the overall scheme. He gave me creative liberty without letting me make bad choices. I appreciated that .


We are very happy with our remodel!

We had an extremely positive experience working with Dale from start to finish. Dale met with us on several occasions to get a sense of our style and price point. It didn't take Dale very long to know what we wanted to achieve as he has deep experience in interior design and art while being extremely functional. He has an extensive network of local contacts and suppliers which made the entire planning process extremely efficient for us since my wife and I both work full time. The vendors he uses were extremely reliable and trustworthy. Issues will come up with any project. Thankfully, we only had a few minor issues (none of which were Dale's fault) that he helped resolve quickly and professionally. Certain things were shipped and installed directly in our home (e.g., lighting) and large pieces of furniture, but many things (like accessories and artwork) are held by Dale. Once all of our items arrived, Dale scheduled a date with us to set everything up in our home while we were at work. This eliminated unecessary clutter in our home while waiting for our ordered items to come in. When we arrived home one evening, we were greeted with a fabulously decorated home. So painless!
In summary, Dale is extremely responsive; listens to his customer's needs; and delivers a great finished product in a very efficient, high quality manner. We highly recommend his services to anybody and would gladly use him again for other projects.

My house is stunning!! That is probably the best testament to Dale's work. I love everything! Dale met all his commitments, was in constant contact, and put a tremendous amount of time and effort into my redesign. I truly love my home! It was at one point a very high maintenance house that didn't stay clean for long. At Dale's recommendations we refinished the floors with a satin finish (that now always look clean). Additionally my home was ready for new furniture and accessories and I truly love all that he did plus it fits me. My bedroom now looks like a 5 star hotel room and the living room creates a wonderful picture when people walk through the door - which was what I wanted. He also successfully mixed gold and silver as well as multiple woods which changed the entire feel of my rooms. Love it!!

After an initial consultation to discuss what we wanted and to see our home, we hired Dale to help us pull our home together. Dale went furniture shopping with us and it was a tremendous help to have someone who can pull together fabric selections, he knew exactly what to look for. He also brought in additional help for reupholstering and window treatments. He placed the furniture, staged our collectibles and hung all our artwork ( thank you Terry). Dale was always available for questions. He was very good about listening to our likes and dislikes but still able to let us know when we might be going overboard! This was our first experience working with an interior designer and would definitely love to use his services again.

Dale is very professional and will listen to your needs. If you do decide to hire him...be prepared to hit the ground running. He wastes no time and stays on top of everything! We will always hire Dale whenever we do ANYTHING relating to our house. It just takes pressure off of us trying to schedule and deal with contractors. He originally was someone we did business with to now calling him a friend! Do yourself a favor and hire Dale for ANY remodeling! You WON'T be disappointed!

I met with three high-end designers and have had experience working with another in the past. During our initial interview, my husband and I knew right away that Dale was the designer for our job. He is down to Earth and knows how to find the best products at the best price. The vendors he works with are top notch and I was comfortable leaving the house with them there working. Dale accompanied me to all stores and helped me pull together the styles that fit my tastes. He was present during all installations and made sure the products were in good condition and placed correctly in our space. He was quick to deal with all questions I had and resolve any issues. In the end, we have a perfect new living room and dining room and a wonderful new friend in Dale!

Dale scheduled all contractors in a very efficient manner to help us get back into the rooms as quickly as possible. The master bath turned out beautiful in our taste of modern décor, although he can do any type of décor. The Master Bedroom and Bath look beautiful now and meet all of our expectations. The powder room is stunning. The contractors for remodeling the bathrooms were excellent and professional at all times. Dale went over and above his contract in helping to select rugs and lighting for other rooms in the house!! We will use Dale again when we start our next project!

It looks amazing! Flows beautifully with the pool / deck area. We had contacted a landscape service a couple of years prior to add the outdoor kitchen, but were not able to come up with a plan that we felt comfortable with. Dale was able to come in and understand our wants and then translate them into a design. Dale then made all the arrangements with the required vendors to make sure the job was completed with total satisfaction. Dale made sure the project was done at a top notch level while keeping all costs to a minimum. Dale also made sure the project was completed in a timely fashion. This was just a small project that Dale completed for us. He actually did all the interior design work plus recommendations for the exterior on our 16,000 plus square foot home 5 years ago. Without his expertise our home would not be the beauty it is today. Dale was able to make the large home elegant in its beauty while being comfortable to live in. Dale saved us money, saved us mistakes, and saved our sanity during the build of our home. Dale literally went on every appointment with me picking out toilet knobs to curtains. Dale knows a wide variety of suppliers / contractors that work very hard to implement the plan he designs. Dale could see our vision of our dream home even when we were at a total loss from the overwhelming emotions of building. Dale went above and beyond and our beautiful home would not be what it is without all of his creativity and hard work. We highly recommend Dale for any design job!!

Dale did a fabulous job tying together the colors, the fabric selections, the furniture, the rugs, the paintings, the lighting, and the decor needed to coordinate with our theme.

We will continue to use Dale because each time we work with him, we are pleased with his work and the finished product.

Dale did a fantastic job. He was very detailed and timely in following up. He was very easy to work with and had a great eye for design which was tailored to our taste.

I hired Dale to help with lighting, built-in bookcases, furniture for my living room in my new Ryland craftsman home. The company that did the built-ins did an amazing job. Dale recommended all modern accessories which didn't suit my taste so I didn't order them. In the process, it was recommended to order the accessories prior to the furniture or fabric which I didn't do. When I asked for help with a dining room fixture in prep for Thanksgiving, he said it couldn't be done in time so I went to the lighting store myself and had it installed the Wednesday before.
