Typical contractor experience.. quick to tell you what you want and get your money, but slow to return calls after the work is done and the money is paid. 
Painting is tough work, no question about that.  Brian and his team came in with a decent price and could work around our time frame in closing on the house.  He assured us he pays his guys right, so they do a good job and after we moved in one of the services he offered was that he would come back out and touch up areas that needed it.    He was very quick to point out that with paint there is going to things that need another cote, get missed, etc. Makes sense, right? He was also a police officer..so we trusted him from the get-go.
Naturally we found some of these items, IE area under the make up vanity in the bathroom that didn't get painted at all, walls that had thin cotes on them and some nasty lines that would need corrected. 
After the job was finished my wife called several times...he wouldn't answer the calls and never returned them.  During the painting job he had a day or so where he was a bit flaky but came back around and had some personal issues he was dealing with.  We haven't taken the time to pull out all the leftover paint and go around to correct these issues, but we will in time because its become apparent that he isn't going to do it as he said he would.  So i'll take a whole weekend, waste my money on supplies and we will knock it out.  I had always held out hope that he would 'remember us' and give us a call back some day apologizing about this and that and come take care of the issues, but it never happened.
