Buck Heating & Cooling

Years ago, Larry was very helpful and gave us excellent prices.  We have had him work on our rental properties over the years and with excellent results.  He never even charged us a service call fee to come look at the problems.  About two years ago, Larry charged us a fee for coming to look at the furnace.  His place of business is less than three blocks from where our rentals are located.  For whatever reason, he charged, what I considered an extremely high price just for the service call.  When we called him to find out why he'd charged us this particular time when he never had in the past, he never gave a good explanation.  Then, last year when we started having problems with the boiler he installed, he tried to pass us off on other people he knew that could work on boilers.  He would never come over to even look at it claiming he was always busy.  He would make suggestions on things we might try to see if we could get it to work ourselves.  Since this is a rental, we try very hard to make any necessary repairs to the property promptly.  We finally ended up calling another heating/cooling repair place and the guy that came told us that he had had to "clean up after Larry's jobs before".  We are extremely satisfied with this new provider and will remain their client.  After all the years we had worked with Buck Heating and Cooling we feel it is just so unfortunate that Buck has decided to move their business in this direction.

Our furnace stopped working and we had Dial One come out and look at it and they said we needed a whole new furnace. We called Buck to come out and they found that a wire had burned out and they replaced the wire. They actually diagnosed and looked at the right things. Personal service, nice and very responsive.

He responded quickly and ordered the part we needed. It came in the next day and he installed it. He provided quality service and we appreciate his promptness. I will use this company again in the future.
