While the work was acceptable the owner, John was a horrible man. He cursed and berated his son the entire time he was helping him. No way would I want a his man to return to my property. His son is one of his helpers and works hard despite the abuse his father pours on him.

I should have asked to see what they did to other trees before agreeing to "trim" our trees. This was my fault for not completely understanding what they were going to do. I wanted the trees trimmed back and lowered as our 120ft. tree was towering over our house. Rather than reducing the height, they removered the lowest branches 30 ft from the ground. This completely exposed our, once private, back porch and deck. Now we see everyones back yard and they can see right into our porch area. I could have easily rented a lift and cut off branches had I known that is what they were going to do. That would have saved me at least $600.00. They crew and owner were very nice and did a great job. We were sadly on a different page of understanding one another. Expensive lesson learned the hard way.

They did a very, very fine job. He wants to save the tree. I would absolutely use them in the future.

My expercience was fantastic, I was ready to give up and replant some of the shrubs but John and his crew knew what they were doing and restored them to where they are healthy and growing quite well.
I will definetly use Arbor Experts annually.   This was the third time they did work for me.

They were just trying to keep them to where they don't commit suicide.  At that time, they did not have a shredding machine and they had to haul off all the limbs that they cut off.  It took a long time.  Half of the tree came down, so what was left was some of the stuff without the whole trunk to hold it.  I had the whole thing taken out.  It took them the whole day.  If they don't have the wood chipper then I won't let them do the work for a simple fact, as it took a day where they could have done it easily in a half day with a chipper.  There is nothing negative about them.  They were competitive pricewise.  I wouldn't use them again if they don't have a chipper.  It got dark and they had to come back the next day for an hour or two for a final cleanup.

He treated our trees very, very well. He performed a number of services and was obviously knowledgeable.

He even gave me a great deal on price as we had a lot going on at that point.

They were great with our schedule. Right before they came they had a big ice storm in there area and had to reschedule but once we had an appointment they came and took care of everything very quickly. 

Cut down a large tree very near the house.  Ground down stump of this tree.  Used tree climbing and slowly cut up the tree and lower each part to the ground.  Cut up a dead that had fallen.  Also cut down a large tree positioned over the lake.  Trimmed
branches from trees.  Stacked all parts of the tree and cut up all large branches.  Did a great job and were professional.

Arrived quickly and removed tree within 24 hours. Informed me to remove my fence and they would return and cut the stump to the ground. Left 2 messages with John telling him my fence was cleared away from stump.  Now it has been over a week and no replies. HMMM?
I was left with a 30" tall stump in my fence line. 
I finally bought a big chainsaw and finished the job myself!  

John was great to work with.  He came to my property which is a wooded lot, assessed the trees and devised a plan.  the goal was to keep as my of the trees as possible and to treat/feed the trees that needed some help.  We ended up taking some dead trees down and feeding others.  His company was very responsive, did a great job, and took care to clean up debris.  I will continue to use John for work needed on my property.

They did a lot of work for us. They have taken down trees, they trimmed trees and I think they did excellent jobs. They preserve the natural set up of a tree. They are very knowledgeable and professional on their works.

They did an adequate job, but they didn't seem properly equipped.  Furthermore, they didn't return to take down the tree's stump as promised.

Very good company.  I felt they were a little pricy compared to other companies, but given the quality and the care, I think this is an example of you get what you pay for.  John explained that one tree was being choked by one its own roots and it needed to be removed and that the other tree had a large branch growing improperly and need the additional support of the cobra collar system when he did his estimate.  I went back and did research and found that all was true, other tree services would have just trimmed the trees and been gone.  They trimmed a little out of the trees to create a better air flow and both fertilized and treated them which he will monitor for 2 years.  I thought it was great service.  Additionally, he doesn't use buckets or booms and they don't climb with spikes, so all the care one can give to trees this company will do it.  Excellent overall experiance.

We called John Hawkins and asked him to give us an estimate to remove some limbs from a tree that had been damaged by wind.  We also asked him to review our other trees and make some recommendations.  He did so and gave us an estimate.  We authorized the work and he completed the job quickly.  He answered our questions and was very professional and courteous.

3 other arborists said the trees would have to be cut down. John said he'd try everything to save the tree before resorting to cutting it down. He treated them, and they're in perfect condition now.

They did a good job for us. It was a lot of work. Some of the trees were dangerous and over a creek. They also did some fertilizing. They injected the trees and feed the trees and bushes. So we had five or six trees cut down and seven bushes treated. The rest of the trees were trimmed also. I will use them again when I need to.

The company was recommended by a neighbor. We were looking for a knowledgeable person to service the trees properly. We had many questions regarding which trees could be salvaged and tree maintenance. John was very helpful and answered our questions. He has a knowledge level well above the average tree service company. The work was done promptly and the appearance of the property improved greatly.

This company has trimmed deadwood out of our trees and removed trees from our property. They are a small company and the owner is onsite during the work. Their clean up was excellent. The owner is pleasant to work with. Our work was delayed by a week because of staff illness because of the small size of this company but overall,we are very happy with them.

They did a great job. did a really nice job on my fruit trees.

He was very personable. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing and really knew what he was talking about. He charged me a very reasonable price. He also promised me a time he would be there by and showed up by that time. He cleaned up really well when he was finished with the job.

He does real sophisticated tree removal. His name is John Hawkins. He is very skilled and very fairly priced. They were extremely polite and courteous.
