I hired this company to come out October 2020 and repair my pipe coupler between the pump and sand filter that broke which aloud all the water to pump out of my pool before we could notice. I have an automatic cover on the pool so when the water leaked out the cover wouldn't open and made a weird noise. I hired a Treadway Pools to come out and fix my the problems. I also asked them if they could hook up the heater because the previous owner had disconnected the heater and we just purchased the house in August 2020. After the repair the automatic cover was still making a horrible noise. I was told at that time they didn't have the piece to connect the heater and they would have to order the part. I was instructed they would install it in the spring because the pool would be closed in a few weeks. I PAID for them to do all the work and order the part and validated that they would install the part and hook the heater up in the spring and they said yes. I called Treadway to open the pool in February 13 to schedule and validate the heater would be hooked up and open the pool. I was told then she would check on it. On March 25 I called again and asked if they have the piece to hook up the heater and I was told they wouldn't go check until the day of install. I told them I expect the heater to be hooked up since I had payed for it. April 8 or 9 th they open the pool when I was in Florida when I returned the heater was not hooked up and when I called Treadway I was treated horrible and told they don't promise anything because the employee doesn't work there anymore. Treadway then said they would call me back and when they did they wanted to charge me a lot more money to come back out and hook up the heater. I was upset and was talking to Treadway explaining they are not a treating me right and she said I qoute OBVIOUSLY WE AREN'T GETTING ANY WHERE and hung up on me. I can't believe how rude they are.

When complained was told they changed methods because of amount of customers they have to close in a very short time (this is not my problem). They did come back out and redo the closing to standard. Many difficulties with treadway from install of pool till present. Heat pump failed, circulating pump failed pool installed very poorly --- not a quality company.

"First I would like to apologize for the troubles you have had. We do our best to handle all issues promptly whether under warranty or not. First to discuss your pool closing. We have not changed our practices for or how to close a pool. Each technician is trained in the same method. However each tech may employ a different style obtaining the same result, which is a properly winterized pool! In this situation the customer called and did not like how the pool was closed? We sent our service manager back and he performed the closing again. He found that the pool was closed properly. We had actually made two trips, because their fence was locked the first time. Both service calls resulted in no additional charge to the homeowner. The heat pump did have two issues over the past three years. Both are manufactured related failures, which are out of our control. Both incidents were cover under warranty and both cases resulted in no charge to the homeowner. We were called out a third time and found no problem with the heat pump. Again no charge to the homeowner. We did replace the pool pump motor in year three. Again a manufacture warranty case. The manufacture did covered all parts, so no charge for any parts used on this repair, but the labor warranty had expired. There was as service charge for the labor to replace the motor and no trip charge was assessed. We do not guarantee that the equipment will never have any issues. We are here to provide repairs for manufacture backed warranties and here to assist when and if it does fail. With the above incidents we have been there each and every time they called and have been responsive and timely. I’m sorry for the issues you have had. We do our best to remedy all problems in a timely and professional manner."

After extensively researching various in-ground pool types, my husband and I finally had our hearts set on a very specific style of "fusion line" fiberglass pool. We spoke to multiple pool builders in the area, with less than enthusiastic response. Some wouldn't even return our calls. However, when we had the opportunity to discuss our ideas with John Denny at Tredway, his response was immediate and extremely positive. The specific pool we had already decided on happened to be a brand that Tredway did NOT carry at the time, but rather than dismiss my idea and try to sell their "established" brands, John contacted the regional representative from the pool company I was interested in. I was immediately impressed that he would go "outside the box" to accommodate a customer's desires, despite the extra work it would create for him.
During the installation process this year, there was a weather phenomena that caused problems during installation. On a Friday evening, the area received 6+ inches of rain in a relatively short period of time. Unfortunately, we were also having an outdoor living area being added to our home so there were no gutters or tile to divert water. It created a devastating situation all around, and the lack of gutters/tile were partly to blame. (FYI: There is always an extremely vulnerable state during ANY fiberglass pool installation. The unusual 6+ inches of rain in that one Friday evening hit at that most sensitive period.)
The style of "fusion" pool/tanning ledge that we chose and then wanted altered further to our specific desires, created an even more difficult situation for the Tredway team after such an extremely heavy downpour. Not only was John dealing with a fiberglass pool that wanted to lift before installation was complete, but "fused areas" of concrete/fiberglass that didn't want to budge as well. (See Trilogy Fusion Line) John Denny spent 7+ hours onsite the following morning/afternoon (Saturday, by the way....time away from his own family) assessing the situation and discussing it on the phone with the regional Trilogy pool representative, Ed Kriz. He was extremely up front and informative throughout the situation. He didn't even bring up the lack of gutters being a contributor. I was the one that brought that issue up during the discussion. When I did, he simply reassured us that it could and would be corrected. He took no interest in assigning blame. He simply looked to resolve the problem. WOW!
By the following Monday afternoon, John Denny, the Trilogy pool representative, and all of Tredway's wonderful employees had the pool back to its original tolerances. (The Trilogy Pool representative, Ed Kriz, drove up on Sunday from out of state to be there during the process.) It was professionalism at its finest. I still don't know how they did it! It just says so much about a company when unusual situations like this are handled with such class.
In the following weeks, while the installation was going on and the rains were still coming, John would be onsite constantly. Sometimes at midnight in the pouring rain, making sure everything stayed in place. How many companies show that kind of commitment these days? Not many....Tredway did.
Simple installations can always make a company look good. However, successful resolutions of difficult installations like ours show the true quality and professionalism that a company upholds. Now we have the pool of our dreams, and we have the Tredway/Trilogy team to thank for it! We couldn't be happier with their work! The end result is incredible!!

Had problems four mos after pool was installed with the liner ripppling, etc.....came out to service it and couldn't fix it. They took no ownership whatsoever! Pool cost $45,000 and had problems from the start! they do not stand behind their work and will nickel and dime you! I will NEVER have a pool put in by them again! And I met many past customers of theirs who say the same thing!
Response from Tredway Pools Plus
"I had contacted the pool owner in the past. This issue was approximately 8 years ago. The problems with the liner was determined by the manufacture to be of improper chemical care or neglect. I tried to work with her at the time and would do so again. We work very hard for every customer and do everything reasonable, for a given the situation, to remedy it. John Denny, Owner"

We went to their showroom, we selected the new spa that we wanted. The saleswoman took the invoice and the crew came out and took out the old one.

The project was very professional form quotation to finish. They were the low cost bidder of three companies. The work took 8 days from start to finish and was painless. The final result is exactly what we expected. The owner (John Denny) was in daily contact thoughout the work phase and was very responsive to questions. The installation crews were skilled, professional, and fast.
I would use Treday again without hesitation.

Those guys were great because we have 3 young kids so we are constantly in and out. They worked with us really well as far as scheduling was concerned. They called and let us know when they are on their way or if they can work around a certain time. After opening we had to take pool water down for samples so they are very prompt and helpful in explaining what is going on with the water and helping out with what we can do to clear it up.
