Mr Price is a nice enough guy and talks a good game, but I don't believe any more corners could have been cut during this whole process. I am as much at fault I guess for not checking what/how they were doing the landscaping.
What they did or DIDN'T do is as follows:
1) They did NOT use any type of plastic or landscape fabric/netting under the mulch. Which led to weeds and grass grow thru like you wouldn't believe.
2) I'm not sure what kind of grass seed was used to overseed my front lawn but it was terrible. What grew was MORE weeds than previously present.
3) This is the kicker.... They installed the black plastic flexible tubing onto/over each of my gutter downspouts and simply buried them into the ground with nowhere to drain which resulted in my gutters backing up causing my roof to leak at precisely gutter level.
Again, I'm probably just as much at fault. But, for $4500 I guess I assumed they knew what they were doing and I wouldn't have to oversee everything they did.
4) They were called to perform maintenance/repair work......but never showed up..
Lesson learned: You want something done right....do it yourself!
