Stanley Steemer

We moved into our house September of 2021. The previous owners had a long haired cat that peed everywhere and had a litter box under the bed in the master bedroom. (Beyond nasty). We hired family that has a cleaning business to clean the carpet and to be frank they were awful. David and James from Stanley Steamers came over and.... Well, beyond awesome!! We have a newer build (11 years) and we had no clue the carpet was actually white. Very meticulous and very pleasant/fun to be around. It was interesting and kind of embarrassing what they were able to pull out of the carpet. It was kitty litter and cat hair and I promise we have tried to deep clean with our Bissell vacuum and carpet cleaner. David and James made our carpet look new again. We highly recommend them. As for moving furniture.... It is not their job, help them out or give them permission. They don't want to ruin anything.

Cleaners came and did their thing and left. Never asked about furniture or anything. Later that day I noticed that there were no "pucks" under the nightstands/end tables/coffee table so I called and asked about it. Got their manager and left a message. Got a call three days later and was told that I told their team not to move furniture. I absolutely, positively, in no way told their team that and it is a flat out lie. I have a real problem with a company that lies like that and performs substandard service. To their credit they did offer to come out and reclean the carpet, but as we all know that is a royal pain. They flat out denied my request for a credit of any type. I would steer clear of these guys, they lie and don't stand behind their work.

The service team was very professional. During the process my carpet was stretched out of form - I called the service team to address the issue. To this date, no one from Stanley Steamer has called me. A side note, before you schedule your appointment - ask them what do they use to clean carpets - you will be shocked.

It was okay.

Appointment went very well. They called the day before to give us an approximate time of arrival (from 10-1). The day of, they called around 10:15 and were there within 15 minutes. Whole process took about 20 to 30 minutes to complete, and had no issues with the representatives who came and cleaned the carpet. There are a few spots that definitely didn't come as clean as I would have liked, but realize that the carpet has seen some years with little previous cleaning done to it, and the areas that are darker are definitely high traffic areas. Would definitely call again.

We told our HVAC provider that we wanted the ducts cleaned in our 50 year old house and he recommended Stanley Steamer. We have used SS since they opened in FW area and have always been pleased. Our HVAC company coordinated the cleaning with the installation of our new furnace and we were contacted to have an estimator come to price the job. We have 27 ducts and we knew they had never been cleaned. This is something that I had wanted done for allergy reasons and I asked the service staff if they could show us the amount of dust removed. After providing us with efficient service by 2 very courteous gentlemen, we were shown the dust and debris that was removed. I was shocked! No wonder we were sneezing! I am glad we asked to see this, it sure made a believer of my husband.

I believe this was not only a positive for our health, but clean ducts combined with our new HVAC system with a much better filtering system will provide us with much less dusting required through out the house.

Found that my basement had flooded and water had gone away but left a mess. Called Stanley Steemer in the morning and they were there by midday. Nothing could be salvaged so I had their demo crew come in and tear up the carpeting, drywall, remove cabinets from walls etc... Very professional and efficient. Every crew member introduced themselves to me. Paid attention to keep the rest of my house clean as they were bringing materials up from basement. Even carried everything up from the basement except for a few large items that were kept done there.

We contacted Stanley Steemer to clean 3 rooms in our home. Although their quote was a little more than some of the other companies, we chose Stanley Steemer because of their reputation in getting the toughest stains out of carpet. The carpets in two of the rooms (Living Room and Dining Room) had significant pet stains in places. The carpet in the kitchen, near the stove, had grease stains. Everyone was very professional, from the person we spoke to on the phone to the men who cleaned our carpets. We had removed all of the lighter furniture from the rooms, as well as some of the heavier items, prior to their arrival. They moved the heaviest items prior to/while cleaning the carpets. We were very happy with the results. While a few of the pet stains did not come out completely, they were significantly lightened. Although we did not notice much of an odor due to the pet stains after the steam treatment, we did opt for the deodorizing treatment after the carpets were cleaned. We were told that the odor could worsen and the treatment, which contained an enzyme, would prevent this from occurring. This was a bit costly and it only took a minute to spray on all of the carpets cleaned. It did not do any harm, but I think we would pass on this option next time. By the time the job was completed, the carpets were almost dry! We received a phone call the next day concerning the service. Everyone was polite and we would certainly recommend Stanley Steemer to all!

Crew was professional and completed the work in appropriate time. Used protection for floor and gave advise on future care of furniture.

It was a very good experience. They are very professional and very quick. They can usually clean your carpets the same day that you call. They are always quick to get you scheduled.

They do a good job cleaning the carpets. They really do great with pet stains. They are always trying to upsell another service, but overall experience was great.
