I purchased a Groupon for a full interior and exterior auto detailing, full value specified as $180; Groupon price was $90. I was unable to make an appointment because when I called, the first question the owner would ask is: "Do you have a Groupon?" When I responded with a yes, he would tell me to call back or that he would call back. Of course, he never called me back. I had my friend call to make an appointment and warned her that when he asked if she had a Groupon, to say no. He told her the Groupon expired a month ago (which I still had one more month before it expired). When she said no to the question, he promptly made an appointment for THE NEXT DAY! When I showed up for her appointment, he was not there. I called him and AGAIN, his first question was "do you have a Groupon?"I told him no, I had an appointment. He wanted me to leave my car and key unattended. When I refused, he came to the office. He told me the job would take 4-5 hours. After 5 hours, he called to tell me it would take an additional 5 hours!!! I couldn't believe it.Well, I showed up early to get my car. His son was still working on the car. When he finished, the owner showed up to collect his money. Instead, I gave him the Groupon. He refused to give me the key until I paid an ADDITIONAL $50. I've left out several lies he told me along the way, but suffice it to say, I will never take my car back to this person. I'm disappointed in his dishonor of the Groupon. I've used Groupon for several other businesses and had great success. BTW, I've reported him to Groupon.
