Appliance Repair, Appliance Sale
Its now been 3 months that we've been waiting for a simple thermostat. I feel that they have just been getting the runaround. I have now gotten sick again with salmonella and my doctor put me on an antibiotic last week. We need to get our refrigerator fixed or if they can't fix it, they need to replace it ASAP.

It was bad from beginning to end. The information flow got all messed up. They sent out the wrong department to work on my stove. They also tried to change the price from 50 to 100 dollars.

Auto Service
Took vehicle in for a routine oil change. Arrived around 8:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Did not schedule an appointment before hand but was done in about an hour (thirty minutes before promised). A free courtesy inspection was done upon my request. Comments were noted on inspection report, as well as telling me, but not pushy about getting the work done. You can wait in the waiting area (no WI FI) or can shop the Glenbrook Square Mall or the many restaurants while waiting.

Auto Service, Auto Tires
These guys were SLOW to finish. The tires had to go back, and I actually went back 3 times to get it balanced correctly. When I had a bad tire, they never really explained the lack of warranty. I still had to pay for it. Each time I went back for service, it always was a long wait. One time they ended up breaking a lug off the wheel, had to order it across town. I was stuck waiting for hours! Not anymore. No thanks.

Poorly, story from start to finish in above paragraph. The ironic thing about this, is that I used the gift card to buy an under cabinet radio for the kitchen. It is defective. Every time it is turned off and then the next time it is turned on the volume jumps to vol 17, and I prefer 9-10 level. So I have to be prepared to pounce on the volume down button to avoid a blaring noise. I'd return it, but it was apparently the last they had ( do not know if or when they will get more) and an under cabinet installation is not something I want to repeat any time soon. I'm batting 0 for 2 with Sears.
