It went well

Tracey arrived on time and was very personable and friendly. He started the inspection on the outside of the home right away. He did a very thorough inspection of the roof actually walking on top of it and taking pictures of areas that had issues. He tested every outlet inside the home, every water faucet, every switch... Top to bottom. Even got into the attic. I was very happy with Tracey's service and would highly recommend him. I have confidence in the home I'm buying and don't think I'll find any huge surprises down the road with defects later. Thanks so much!! :)

Tracy was very kind and easy to talk to. He answered all of my questions, and made sure I was around so that he could point everything out. We needed our report that night, and he had no problem doing it for us!

Mr. Ramsey did an excellent job. He arrived at the site a few minutes early, inspected the exterior of the house from top to bottom, and then completed a thorough inspection of the inside of the house. Very cordial and even welcomed our young daughter along to 'assist' him as he worked. He answered all of our questions as we went through the inspection process together, pointing out the good features of the home, along with the areas needing work.
He conducted RADON testing as well.
He went up on the roof and also visual inspected the chimney. Took pictures of all areas of concern. We received a detailed report in just a short time frame.
We highly recommend Mr. Ramsey and are glad we hired him to do the inspection.

Called and set up an appointment with Tracy, he was very flexable and able to meet my schedule. Tracy check the roof, the outside of the house,the attic and all of the rooms. Then went through every room,checked every socket, every switch. Turned on all the appliances, showed me how to use them. Went through the furnace, electrical box,softner, humidifier,gas fireplace, checked and showed me how the thermostat worked. He gave me some maintenance tips to keep the problems from starting. He was very professional and patient with my questions.

Tracey was professional, friendly, and thorough. He inspected the house--both interior and exterior--from top to bottom. He crawled into the attic and went onto the roof. He was able to tell me which issues were problems that needed to be addressed immediately, which should be fixed at some point in the future, and which might be minor annoyances but were more a function of the age of the property than a true defect. He was happy to have me accompany him as he did the inspection, and he wrote up a thorough report. He found a few red flags (like a potential problem with the chimney) that he strongly recommended I have checked before making an offer. The money I spent on Tracey's inspection was well worth it. I've lived in the house for nine months now, and there have been no "surprises."
