 + -1 moreIt went very well! Kyle, the technician, did an fantastic job cleaning every vent. Our house hadn't had it's vents cleaned in 26 years and they were very thorough. I informed them of my allergies, and they brought us an air scrubber over to rent. They protected our new hardwood floors and didn't try to up-sell us at all. Joe, the manager, was beyond kind, and made sure our specific needs were met by the correct technicians. He used all-natural mold killers, and our house had never smelt so fresh!
Description of Work: Cleaned air ducts and removed mold.

They told me they would be here and then had to change the appointment. When they came to do the water extracting, they were her for maybe 20 minutes. Then when they wanted to leave I told them there is no way it could be done. They said that is the way they do it. Their salesman said that is not how it is done and would send out his best crew. He sent out another crew and they did what should have been done the first time around. Then they sent a man to remove all the fans, and he refused to move the furniture that they moved back to where it was. He said it was my problem

Our basement flooded and I called insurance. Within 10 minutes, the phone rang and I was Protechs. They were at the house later that day with all the drying equipment. They sent someone out everyday to check the drying progress and moisture levels. They would call before they came everyday and were always polite and punctual. I suffered much confusion on part of the insurance compay and Protechs actually became the "go-between" on my behalf and Joe went above and beyond to help get the insurance nightmare solved! I hope I never need them again, but if I do, I will call Protechs.

 + -1 moreThey kept the appointment. The estimated price was satisfactory and fair compared to the other cleaning services around. They were punctual and efficient. They did deep cleaning with a commercial carpet cleaning equipment. We were very pleased with their service.
Description of Work: We used Protechs Inc. for carpet cleaning for a couple of thousand square feet. We've been using them for three years. They also do a lot of restoration work.

Description of Work: We had fire smoke damage in 2 rooms. Protech did the work and the quality was fine, work extended a month longer than I expected but was quite satisfactory. However, when it came time for the bill, which was mostly covered by insurance, the bill was incorrect by a small amount. I held back less than 5% of the payment til we could settle the bill. They were very uncooperative in trying to figure out where I said their billing error was and instead of cooperating turned it over to collections. I was very willing to work with them, (left phone messages and emails) and figure out the small "error" portion but they seemed to not even try, other than to send a duplicate bill. I normally pay bills ASAP and have an excellent credit rating. But, am apalled at how poorly Protech trys to solve a billing dispute. Thus, this story since it is not yet finished. So, the work was good but the company office tacics were and are poor.
