BUYER BEWARE.  These are the kind of mechanics that give mechanics a bad name.  I had my Jeep towed to them after it broke down because they were the only place open on a Sunday and I am new to Fort Wayne.  I told them that it sounded like the alternator to me.  They came back to me the next day and declared that they had tested the alternator, it was fine and that it was the PCM that was bad and needed to be changed out.  $370 for the part, direct from manufacturer and they wouldn't charge me labor.  Thought that was odd... who is in business to give away free labor?  So, they changed it out, as soon as I got the Jeep back, the "GEN" light came on which is an alert for a bad alternator.  Sure enough, it broke down again 2 days later.   Took it in and they told me this time that it was the battery, they supposedly tested the alternator again and there was nothing wrong with it.  $140 for a battery replacement.  I got the Jeep back and the alternator light came back on.  Took it in a 3rd time and they swore up and down that the alternator light would not come on for them, no matter how far they drove it.  I picked it back up and before i even got it home, the alternator light came on, again.  2 days later, broke down AGAIN.  Took it to a different mechanic who tested the alternator.   Bad alternator, changed it out... it's been fine every since.   When I talked to Patriot Tire, they stood behind their claim that they tested the alternator 4 times and said it was fine, despite the fact that I was standing there with the alternator bill from a competitor that clearly showed it was not.  I've researched how much the battery and PCM should have cost for parts and they grossly overcharged me for both.  They claimed to not charge me for labor but what they did is add that cost into the parts.  That way when things went wrong, they can't give you any money back because you have new parts on your vehicle.  I will never use them again and I will tell anyone I know.   

We had 4 Goodyear tires put on , the total cost of the bill was also for Lifetime Balance of tires,also 4 wheel drive alignment, disposal of our old tires,and road hazard warranty.They will check tires for no cost. We are very happy with the services provided and the friendly people that work there.

The people that work there are very friendly.It is a first come first served shop but we did not have to wait very long.Would recommend it to everyone.

I left my office to go to a meeting and noticed that my car felt different. I quickly stopped, got out, and looked around my car and found my front passenger tire was completely flat. I borrowed a car to go to my meeting, and when I came back I called my roadside assistance option on my car insurance. The gentleman came and put on my spare tire. Then I drove it down to Patriot Tire on Dupont Rd.
They took my car right in, pulled out the screw I had run over, repaired, and balanced my tire. It took only 30 minutes and it cost only $15. I sat in their waiting room, which has a window into the garage area, so I could see my car.

I had to have an oil change, tires rotated and balanced, and the air conditioning system repaired and recharged. I also had the light for my low tire pressure going off because it needed a new sensor. They suggested a replacing the air in my tires with nitrogen, and included it in my total price. These guys were very friendly and didn't speak down to me because I'm a girl. Very happy with service. Will go back when I need any other work done.

I took my van in because the AC was not working (blowing hot air). I got a call later that day from the tech saying that the air conditioning was fixed, but noticed that the transmission fluid and power steering fluid were discolored and really needed to be flushed and changed. My heart sank as I asked how much. He said something along the lines of $150 for the trans and $75 for the steering.
I am a tightwad by nature, and spending money generally will put in a funk for a few days. So, trying to limit the amount of money I was going to spend, I asked the salesman if I got the transmission flushed today, could I get the power steering done for free? To my absolute surprise, he said yes!
Now thinking about it, it was a good move on his part as he upsold me a service right then, but I also walked away from the deal feeling good. Not often in life does this happen, and this is just another instance of Patriot tire treating their customers right.

I looked at website and saw they had a online appointment scheduler but decided to call the DuPont location to see if they could suggest a non busy time so I could just wait. I called and asked to make an appointment and was told that they do first come first service. I thought to may self then why an online appointment scheduler ??? But I did not question it as he said they were slow so if I wanted to come over I should not have to wait long. So I went over at 11am on a Thursday. The service desk guy took my information asked what type of car (BMW) and then had to run back and ask if they could do that type of car. I was a little worried but when I drove up I could see the alignment bay and the machine looked like every other modern alignment machine. He came back and said yes and it would be about an hour. I waited around for a bit and then decided to go across the shopping center and have a quick lunch. When I got back the car was just being pulled into the bay. There were two guys sitting under it doing the back wheels for quite some time so that started to concern me but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. My car was done around 12:45 when the tech took it for a quick drive to check things out. I checked out at 1pm so it was a bit longer than the 1 hour initially stated. When I went to pay I stated I had a Groupon and he re printed out the paper work so it was a 0.00 charge. I drove off and the car ran straight which i would hope was the case because it ran straight before I got there and my steering wheel was straight which is what prompted the visit.

I went to Patriot for a tire rotation and balance. Once the mechanics had my tires off, they inspected the brakes. One of the employees than approached me with their findings. Supposedly, my front brakes were metal to metal and the rotors needed replaced too. It was also recommended that I have two of the tires replaced due to wear. I declined the additional services. The next day my dad and I inspected the brakes. They were not metal to metal and the rotors were fine. The brakes needed to be replaced in the near future but the problem was certainly exaggerated at Patriot. The wear indicators on the two tires that supposedly needed replaced were fine too. I will not return to Patriot tire due to their dishonesty.
