RECOMMENDED FOR ANY UNUSUALLY HEAVY MASONRY WORK - INCLUDING BUILDING RESTORATION OR REPAIR INVOLVING MASONRY - BECAUSE LOCAL TALENT MAY BE INADEQUATE FOR SUCH SPECIALIZED JOBS. (LOCAL BIDS INCLUDED $30,000 AND $80,000!) WORK CREW DROVE DOWN FROM WARSAW IN EACH DAY, WAS ALWAYS PUNCTUAL, AND COMPLETED THE WORK SLIGHTLY AHEAD OF SCHEDULE.
Description of Work: FLAGSTONE STEPS LEADING TO FRONT DOOR, AND LEADING DOWNHILL ON BACK OF HOUSE FROM UPPER DECK (OUTSIDE OF DINING ROOM) TO LOWER DECK (OUTSIDE OF WALKOUT BASEMENT) HAD SUNK DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY AND SEPARATED FROM HOUSE, EXPOSING FOUNDATION TO RISK OF WATER DAMAGE. INDIVIDUAL FLAGSTONES WEIGHED AS MUCH AS 600 POUNDS. OBR REDESIGNED THE STRUCTURAL SUPPORT FOR THESE STEPS, RESET THE STONES, AND CREATED AN ENHANCED
