The subdivision is a former Golf Course with approx. 35 lots and 12 occupied homes in it. My lot had a large raised mound of dirt next to it. Besides being unsightly, the contracted mower could not mow this leaving weeds, etc.! I asked Jeff Thomas, who is in charge of subdivision maintenance, etc. about "doing something" about this for me. If I did it privately, I was given a $300 price for a private contractor to do this. Jeff promised in the Spring that as soon as ground was OK for equipment to get in there, he would "take care of it". One day in March,2015, I came home and that dirt mound had been evenly graded out!
This summer I asked Jeff about doing the final asphalt layer on our subdivision's streets. It is common construction practice to refrain from putting the "final top layer" of asphalt on until "most construction activity is finished" I understand that. Grey Goose subdivision has approximately 35 lots with 12 new houses scattered there.
Jeff promised that it would be taken care of this season. A couple weeks ago, Brooks Construction came in a did the finish coat of asphalt throughout the subdivision.
I would not hesitate to buy in development that Mike Thomas Associates owns/administers. They are very conscientious about keeping their reputation in good standing. They will address your legitimate concerns
