We were audited and following an appointment with an attorney we found this accounting group. Sometime last autumn, can't remember the exact date...Douglas met with us & pointed out just what the IRS was seeking. He saved us over $5000 from what a tax attorney wanted to represent us. We were able to file the amended return ourselves with the info that Douglas Wolfe gave us.

After discussion of all of the details of income from various sources, 401k and 403b plans and the specifics of the retirement plan, Mark provided us with how much tax would need to be paid if I accepted the retirement offer. Because he was not able to provide new information or help us to find a method to reduce the tax burden, he did not charge for the consultation. I would certainly have paid for the his services, but he, graciously, said that because he could not provide helpful advice, he would not charge us today.

This might be a little different rating of a business, but I felt it needed to be told. I have an older friend who needed an accountant to do their taxes. They love to go to the casinos and had been very lucky in 2012. She asked for my advice on where to have her taxes done. And of course I checked Angie's List. Leonard J. Andorfer and Co. was listed and they were very happy. So I gave the information to my friend. She called me back and was just delighted with their service. Douglas Wolf was the accountant from their business that handled their taxes. He was very nice and professional. They even got over $2,000.00 back from the government. They were treated with respect and told me their taxes will be done there in the future. If asked to refer another friend, They also gave me permission to post this rating.

Leonard J. Andorfer and Company is a very nice company. It was the first company I had ever used for taxes. They were recommended by 2 other people. They are dignified. They were friendly, patient, they explained everything that they needed, and they made everything clear. Jennie Lemon did the work. She was very professional and very pleasant. The job was good. I got my appointment, the taxes were done on time, and it was all good. I will continue to use them. The office is very organized. They have someone at the receptionist desk and they made you feel comfortable. I thought the work was good. I did look over the work, because I had done my taxes in prior years.

I have had very good luck with him. My experience with him is excellent. He is very reliable and very prompt. He was able to get my taxes done in quick order and it was really very nice. I have only used a CPA a couple of different times and it seemed to me that he was very reasonable.

The company met or exceed all of our requirements, they were precise, professional, accessible, and timely.

He has always been very responsive, professional and never have had a problem. I also like that he does give us help over the phone, then will go in and see him every year.
