Yes, I recommend this pro

Bob Thomas had two crews dispatched to my house; first crew, to remove old siding and install new siding. Second crew, to paint the new siding and seal & caulk. Each time I was notified  in advance:

  • when  materials (siding) would be delivered
  • when the construction crew would remove & replace the siding
  • when the paint crew would do their work
  • All three  of these instances were handled in a VERY professional manner from start to finish! Clean-up afterwards, etc. were all taken care of.
  • Also,Last Fall, after I moved in I noticed some leftover building materials not properly disposed of by a previous contractor in the lot next door to me., Very unsightly!
  • Bob Thomas took care of that & had it removed after I called him
  • In short if you have a home built by Lancia, or buy an already built one (like me) there will be no surprises. Lancia values their reputation AFTER THE SALE. They honor their commitments.
  • I would not hesitate to make them my first choice on any new home!

"[Member Name Removed], I am sorry that you have had a concern with your new home. If you would like to discuss them further please contact Jamie Lancia at Lancia Homes on we can address any of your concerns. Our subcontractors do work weekends especially if we have a lot of homes being built at the time. A vapor barrier was installed on your home per building code requirements. I hope that we can help with any other concerns you might have. Thanks, Jamie Lancia"

Let me first say, that with the NEVER ending list of repairs with this house, lancia has fixed most of them.
Was exited when i finally chose lancia to build for me.  After looking into several builders locally i felt lancia was a better fit for the price and percieved quality.
Once the buliding process was underway i went to the build site everyday. (very smart)
First problem i saw was that the cement slab they poured was coming apart on the side. I asked about it and they said it was normal....i still worry about THAT one.
I paid for a plant ledge, had to have them rebuild part of a wall because..OOPS! they didnt READ the blueprint.
After SEVERAL more...OOOPS! Final walkthrough came.....the service rep's favorite phrase, as he walked me through, was, "Unfortunately thats the nature of the beast". As he described anything that could go wrong with everything in the house!
I moved in and day one...i couldnt use my main toilet...after SEVERAL visits by
lancia and the plumber...they discovered a big piece of STACKED STONE in the pipe!  they had to drag in a huge machine to "break" it up and push it out to the 4" pipe in the street......wont that cause a WHOLE neighborhood clog later on??????
ALL my doors were sticking, some i couldnt even open.
the paint around doors..windows was ripped off due to the painters ripping tape and not checking.
My patio door leaked cold air.
My AC didnt work....they came and filled the BRAND NEW UNIT said it was low......next day....STILL not working....they came back out and discovered a HOLE in the line!!!!!  and then
had the gaw to tell me that,,OOPS this was NEVER final inspected!
had a windstorm last spring...ROOF CAME OFF!
dishwasher leaked all over the floor....sink leaked all under the new cabinet ruining the finish.
faucet outside came off the house THREE times and am still waiting on it to be repaired.
fireplace fan rattled.
microwave caught on fire just DAYS after warranty ran out.
water runs TOWARDS the house from the patio.
light fixture on patio is rusting already.
ceiling in covered patio flaps up and down in the wind,,very noisy.
SEVERAL OTHER PROBLEMS  fingers getting tired..lol
