HM Asphalt

Had our drive way paved and it started cracking. I called and they said they were real busy and would look at it when they had time. Called again and no response. It's been 4 weeks now.

Initially, HM Asphalt's response to provide the quote for the work and then to start and complete the work was positive. After completion there were a couple of issues I asked them to address. They returned the day after completion to correct the issues. However, in my opinion, their corrections were mediocre. Approximately 2 weeks later, there were visible signs of vegetation in multiple areas protruding through the new asphalt surface. I sent a text with photos to which they replied quickly. They agreed the issues should be corrected and they would get back with me on when they could return. That was approximately 2 weeks ago and I have not heard back. During this time, I have sent additional photos via text as the issues have become more widespread. I have also asked for an update via same texts regarding their schedule with no reply from them. I believe I went against my better judgement in going with the lowest estimate and the fact they could start right away. There are not many contractors I am aware of that could start the work the same day a quote is provided. Their reviews, though not many, appeared to be positive. In my opinion, this project was rushed and not done properly. Prep work prior to laying the asphalt and the thickness of the asphalt layer was questionable.

They were very prompt and the price was exactly what we needed. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for an asphalt driveway.
