They have been excellent and they are a family owned business. They are compassionate and their prices are very good. They have boarding on site which is comforting. We have no concerns that our dogs are in good hands when they board there. They are very kind and we would recommend them to anybody.

When I took my pet in to have him put down we had to sit and wait in the waiting area for 15 minutes. It was already a very stressful and sad situation but making us wait like that agitated my dog even more than he already was. Having to do that is the most horrible thing and how they acted and treated us is unforgivable. I also had some teeth removed from my other dog and Dr. Martin broke her jaw while doing this. He acted as if it wasn't a big deal. He had to wire her jaw. She was never the same after that. She passed away before her time. They just didn't seem to care about either instance. I feel that Dr. Martin was rushing when he did the surgery. They are always over booked. While the services here are cheaper you should spend a little more money and go to someone who isn't rushed and actually cares about you and your pet.

I was so happy when I moved to Fort Wayne and found this wonderful veterinary clinic. Fort Wayne Pet Hospital has an entire knowledgeable staff of animal lovers. Dr. Marcus Martin is friendly and professional...he's always taken good care of my dogs and has gone above and beyond more than once when I was facing bad news...I appreciate his common sense approach and the reasonable costs. While the front office staff has always been friendly, they do seem to be very busy so don't be surprised to wait a while for them to return a call or for calls to be somewhat abrupt. Being that Fort Wayne Pet Hospital seems to be a busy place, I plan my time accordingly...I've not felt rushed during my appointments...they've "fit me in" on short notice and at the end of the day more than once when I was going through illnesses with my dogs...I've also occasionally noticed someone who appears to be dealing with something bad get slipped in ahead me...I think they try to give their best care to every animal each day. The vet techs have always been friendly and professional as well, however, I did have a somewhat negative experience with a newer member of the staff who bathed one of my dogs when I was recovering from surgery...note, my dog was not physically harmed or anything like that...and to be fair, this particular dog is a rescue, does have a few quirks and can be a little challenging...in the end, I might try getting one of my other dogs bathed there but probably would not have this particular dog bathed there again or at least would ask for a more experienced person.

They have good hours. They have weekend hours, which is only the usual amount. They have good staff. They'll actually listen to you and work with you on the animals. They do surgery in house. It's convenient and efficient.

Everything from start to finish went just wonderfully! The staff took great care and handled even our and quot;difficultand quot; (that would be a s

creaming wildcat when handled by strangers...heheheheh) cat with kindness, understanding and complete competency! We were so pleased with every part of our experience, although we probably can't vouch for our cat - he definitely let us know that the vet's is NOT his favorite place to go! But, even the cat looks AND feels better and had no complications at all. *He did look really funny wearing his and quot;collarand quot; to prevent licking the wound though - very entertaining to watch him cope with it!

The staff there is friendly, but typically backed up and it takes a while for you to register when you arrive. Once you see the doctor though, they're very professional and knowledgeable. My main concern and reason for the not so stellar grade is that I've called multiple times during regular business hours, and even though they state that they'll give prompt responses and to call in if I ever need anything, the truth is they don't call you back for a while. If you're lucky enough to reach someone when you first call, they're very curt and don't take much time with you at all. If you have to leave a message, they'll take way too long to get back to you. I left a message once at 1:30, and didn't get called back until 5:45 in the afternoon, with instructions to call them back since I happened to miss the call and no answer to the questions I left them. I've had to call them multiple times during their scheduled hours and about 75% of the time end up at the voicemail.

Dr. Martin is just wonderful and good with owner, too. For the care of the animal and the price, you pay, you can't beat it. I've checked everywhere else and Dr. Martin really gives my dog a lot of care, too. I give them high ratings and will continue to go there.

The front desk is always courteous and very professional. Doctor Martin is also very kind to our dog.
