Fort Wayne Endocrinology

I had been going to Fort Wayne Endocrinology for approximately 3 years with the same insurance with very few problems. After taking a new job I presented my new insurance card to the office staff and they said they took the insurance. I never receive a bill after that first visit and assumed the visit was covered by insurance. I went back 6 months later for my next appointment and presented a new insurance card. Again, they said they took the insurance. Approximately 3 weeks after the last appointment aI received a bill for the entire amount of the two visits, over $1,400. I called them and asked why they did not file the visits through my insurances. They rudely stated that they told me at the appointment they did not take my insurance. I spoke with the office supervisor and they stuck to the same story, stating that I was explicitly told they did not take my insurance. They never said anything of the sort at the time of my appointment, I would never have gone to an appointment knowing it was not in network with my insruance. It was their word against mine so I felt I had no choice but to pay the balance they fraudulently claimed I owed them.

Dr. Kadambi is hard to see because he is very popular. He addressed all my issues and tested the appropriate hormones and levels necessary. My levels came back normal, but he suggested a small dose of thyroid medicine because he knew I was dealing with infertility. Fast forward a few months and I am pregnant. I have friends who see him too and really like him.

I went back on a follow-up visit and was handed off to a nurse practicitioner. She was nice, but didn't seem knowledgeable. I complained that I still wasn't able to lose weight, still had low energy and still had no s** drive. She told me to go on a low glycemic diet. I had already been on one for 2 years with no results. It was really frustrating since they had taken 5 vials of blood everytime I came in and still couldn't give me any new information. I have every symptom of adrenal fatigue and low blood sugar, but they seeing that in my tests. I feel like I have to tell them what to look for. I still plan to go back. i like the doctor and hopefully I can steer they the right way.

Dr. Kadambi was wonderful! He told me what blood work he was going to do and what he expected to find. He told me what he would look at next if his initial suspicious weren't confirmed, and he told me that there were other things we would explore if that didn't pan out, either. He promised that he would get me feeling better, and he did. He diagnosed a pituitary problem, and his treatments have gotten me back on me feet and feeling great. He treated me like a person and not just a list of lab results.

I have seen Dr. Craig Greenberg at this practice several times. He is very knowledgeable about diabetes and good at explaining things in an understandable way.. He answers questions thoroughly and does a thorough exam at each visit. He is friendly and personable. He has me get a complete set of lab tests before each visit and goes over the results with me during the office visit. He also goes over my medication level to confirm that it is the correct dosage.
I feel confident that my condition is being treated properly, which is not a feeling I had when seeing a previous endocrinologist at a different practice.

They have been seeing her for a couple years. Everything has been great with her care.

I see Dr. Greenburg. He is very thorough and innovative.
