I have been using Dusty Brothers for about a decade for chimney cleaning and some repair work. Dusty Brothers has always done a professional job at a reasonable price. I do not use them for dryer vent cleaning. My vent is only about 4 feet long. I do it myself. You may want to consider the length of your vent before having them do it. That could save you a chuck of change.

We hired dusty bros to clean our dryer vent. The quoted price was $160, which seemed a little pricey, but we are probably about 30 mins away so it could have included a trip charge. We were told the price ahead of time so we knew the cost going into it. They discovered our dryer vent was not only clogged, but poorly routed and not up to code. So they cleaned and replaced our vent and brought it up to code for $350, which seemed very reasonable. After that, we did have some problems with significant humidity when we ran the dryer so they came back out to check it out. The venting had come off in the back so they fixed it up and now everything’s running great! They came back out to fix it free of charge. We would definitely recommend.

Love this company. Have used them for years. They installed and wood burning insert into my existing fireplace. It has been a life saver. Every year since I have used them for chimney cleanings. They are fast and professional.

Dryer vent cleaning took just a few minutes and was over $100. Chimney inspection and cleaning combined with the dryer vent cleaning was supposed to get me a $30 discount on the total cost of both, which brought it to $208. Per the technician, the chimney did not need cleaning, so I was not entitled to the $30 discount, so the price was...$208. Less work done, no discount, so the same price...$208. I feel like I was film flammed or bait and switched, whatever you want to call it, but it was a ripoff. Also, the tech recommended I leave the pilot light on in the fireplace because it costs next to nothing. Bad advice...when I came home from running errands an hour or two after they had left, the living room/main floor smelled strongly from the pilot light burning. So should he have left the flue open? And how much heat would escape up the chimney? The tech was a nice guy, but all in all a highly unsatisfactory experience. I should have complained when he ran the charge, but I feel cheated none the less.

Job was done well, as far as I can tell, just seems like high fee for less than 15 min work, but maybe that's typical for any vent cleaning. They were able to schedule quickly, called before arriving, and were professional.

The two men who came were kind and got the job done. The quote was exactly what I paid. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and refer them on to others. I can't wait to use my like-new fireplace.

Fantastic. Matt called me and asked if they could come earlier than original scheduled due to them being ahead of schedule. The work was done very quickly and professionally. Who time took about 1/2 hour. They accessed the vent from the roof and when everything was cleaned out they used a leaf blower to clean the lint off the roog. Great service! I would high recommend Dusty Brothers to anyone for dryer vent cleaning.

The men arrived on time and were very pleasant.  Immediately they started working and told me the back wall of the firebox needed to be replaced because of cracks which could be a fire hazard.  It was obvious to see and I therefore agreed to have the work done.  In the future I will call them to have any work or repair on my fireplace.

Showed up on time and did the work quickly. I also had a very short time frame in which I needed the work done and they were able to come and do it the following week. They also did a free estimate which I greatly appreciated, as another company was going to charge $100 just to come and look at it.

The staff was excellent. Everybody was really helpful. They were very prompt. We have actually recommended them to a lot of our friends and associates just for the nature of their business. They left the area just as they found it.

Everything went well. I will be using them in the future for chimney cleanings.

Quick and efficient. Got a discount because I used Angie's list to schedule the appointment. They previously rerouted the vent to the outside from the attic several years ago, which is why I used them again. Same guy came; same excellent service.

In November, we took possession of a home that has a wood-burning fireplace. On the advice of the home inspector, we arranged for a chimney sweep to inspect and clean the chimney before using the fireplace. Dusty Brothers had reasonable rates and during the peak season for chimney sweeps, they were available as soon as any other local provider. The technician finished the job quickly, left no dirt behind and provided valuable information and advice about the operation of the fireplace. The total fee would have been much less, had we not needed the heat shield to protect our home from cracks and pitting in the back wall of the fire box.

We bought and older home with two fireplaces in unknown condition. Dusty Brothers accommodated our schedules and arrived on time. They cleaned both fireplaces and chimneys taking special care of our carpets. They were informative, professional and offered us options and quotes considering one out of the two fireplaces needed repaired. Highly recommend them.

They immediately noticed my dryer vent was covered with the wrong cap. My dryer was not drying as the vent was clogged. I had Stanley Steemer out last year and they clean the vent but never mentioned or even looked at the vent cap. They replaced it with proper cover and cleaned vent.

Called to have a chimney sweep and possible maintenance done. During the sweep visit we discussed alternatives with Chuck and Chris. They were very knowledgeable and helpful when answering our questions. We did purchase a glass insert and are very happy with our decision. Yes, we would absolutely use again.
