They spent about three or four days researching and looking for a part that had burned out, but the company stopped making the part years ago. They had the replace the whole boiler and it was expensive but it was in line with what I found online. They seemed to bend over backwards to find the replacement part, but it didn't work out that way. The two techs that came out had never seen a boiler with that configuration. They did a neat and clean installation, I was impressed with the quality of their work, and they were able to do everything in one day. Once they were done, it was the first time we had real heat upstairs. They were very responsive

Called in morning after temperature in house had dropped to low 50 overnight on one of the first really cold days. They advised me they could have someone be there around 11 that day. I agreed to meet them at the house. He arrived promptly at 11 and was the same technician who has worked on our furnace in the past. They thoughtfully sent him as he'd have an advantage by knowing our furnace and set up. He diagnosed our furnace and found the fault. It was a worn out igniter, My furnace is about 15 years old and unfortunately the manufacturer doesn't use the same type of igniter any more so he was concerned he wouldn't be able to have one for a few days until one was shipped. Luckily he keeps a few obsolete parts in his van for such reasons. He had one and replaced the igniter and cleaned the furnace while he was there. Within 30 minutes of his arrival we had hot air blowing again. We will keep using them and referring them and are appreciative of their attention to detail and customer service.

Good sales presentation answering all our questions with absolutely no pressure and with understandable information about the products, which are more complex than they used to be! Installation was done efficiently and very pleasantly and installers seemed very genuinely enthusiastic about their product and interested in educating us about it. We had comparison shopped, and the price was very good. The company was up to speed on the multiple rebates available for these products and made applying for them very easy. They also offered a senior citizen discount.

Our home is about 1100 SQ ft. We were told that they would arrive between 8-830 am and they arrived just barely after 8. Cloths were immediately placed down through all walkways of our home. They got to work immediately and were always professional and informative when needed. They had the job of removing our old original furnace from a very tight spot in a bathroom closet area. They had to remove the water heater and also drain it to get to the furnace. They also installed a new A/C unit out back with all lines through the attic that were needed to connect it. Our thermostat was relocated to the hallway from the living room which we very much appreciated. During our estimate we were informed of all rebates we were eligible for and how to go about applying for them and what forms we would need. One of the main reasons we went with this company aside from trustworthiness and professionalism was the price. We were quote a price nearly 1500 more at least three years ago from another prominent local company we see in commercials here. At that time the other company also told us that we might want t to have another door installed fin the hallway, directly next to the bathroom door and leading from the furnace room. This made very little sense to us given the hallway is just as narrow as the space available in the bathroom that already leads to the furnace room if that makes any sense. Their job at our home was a very difficult one, we felt the price was fair and we really appreciated all of their hard work. They spent nearly 8 hours here and they worked hard to get the job finished the whole time they were here. Best of all we've had a chance to use the central air since it is still warm out and it works great. We look forward to the lowered heating costs this winter.

I needed a total HVAC rehab in my house and Dantzer was recommended. They came over as promised and looked at the system with me. We decided to put in a new furnace and update the infrastructure so it worked with my existing AC units. The guys were very clear, concise, detail-oriented, and professional. They pointed out several code violations that existed with my HVAC setup at the time and corrected them. So, once I got the money I called them and they were over at the house within days. In one morning they installed the new furnace, installed a new low-voltage line to my AC unit, ran the condenser to my sump pit, fixed all manner of funky tubing in the basement, removed the old furnace, cleaned up the basement, and got out of there. By the time I took my lunch break they were gone, all that was left was an informational packet on the side of my beautiful, high-efficiency furnace. Very pro guys. Fast, effective, and they cost less than I thought they would. They answer the phone every time I call and have the info I need. Probably the best contractors of any kind in Fort Wayne, based on my experiences.

We have used them for several years now and we are very pleased with them. We have a service contract with them. We pay around $172 a year for both the air conditioner and the furnace. Since we have a contract with them, we can get priority when it comes to any problems. They will come out and repair our units before they go out to the customers, who don’t have a contract with them. We also get discounts. We haven’t called them too many times. We have been in our house for 4- 5 years. When they serviced the furnace, they said that the heated exchanger was bad. That was covered under the warranty of the furnace. However, it cost us a $100 of labor to do the work. Four years later, when they were servicing it, they said that the heat exchanger was bad again. The problem was with the make of the furnace. It was still covered under the warranty, but the labor charges had gone up to $400. The problem was meant to recur in the future. So, we opted to replace the furnace. We also got the air conditioner replaced by them. We have been extremely pleased with them. We haven’t used any other company in a long time. Their prices are fair. They give us a two hour window as to when they will come out. They normally come out within the first half hour. We will continue to use them in the future.

Having used them in the past I didn't hesitate to call them once our furnace started acting up again. The technician arrived and diagnosed the problem which was located inside a contained area inside the furnace. The part was ordered and was to arrive the next day. The technician arrived the next day and proceeded to remove the housing to install the new part when he discovered the problem was only a faulty gasket not the part itself. He quickly replaced the faulty gasket and didn't charge me for the part they ordered. I was impressed with their speed and service and will continue to use them and recommend them.

They did a great job. Our house is warmer and our furnace runs more efficiently. The job did not take very long. They showed up on time. I would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

Dantzer's staff are very professional, competent and friendly. They arrived when they said they would, did exactly what they told me they were going to do and charged me exactly what they had estimated. I don't know what more I could ask for. I'm very happy with their work. I will definitely continue to use them in the future.

My furnace was not firing properly, and I called for a service. All it needed was a good cleaning, and standard service. The guy was clean, and very detailed in the job he did. He wore shoe covers when coming into the house. He was there about 90 minutes, and did a great job. The furnace fired right up from then on! Good work.

Their office was actually able to get a tech to my home earlier than expected due to a cancellation. Since this was a Monday morning and we had been without heat all weekend I was delighted. The tech was knowledgeable and did not try to get me to replace my eight-year-old furnace, unlike other companies I have dealt with. I would recommend them and call them again.

The estimate was precise, the technicians were the utmost professionals, and the work quality is superb. They were on time, and efficient, and economical. I had estimates from other HVAC outfits and the prices were much higher, and the sales pitch was high pressure. None of that with Dantzer Heating and Cooling.

They were able to give me a quote within a day of my phone call and the work was scheduled, within 4 business days. Arrived on time and workers completed the work within a half a day and cleaned up the work area, when they were finished. I was very pleased with their work. The second floor of my house is now cool, whereas it used to be at least 10 degrees warmer, than the first floor. My old system was 20 years old and also, a half ton too small, for my house size.

This company is very reliable and professional. They come out when they say they will and follow-up really well after the work is completed. We liked them so much we will be using them again for now on.

They did a very good job. I called them they did it the next day. It was about 2 hours. They even gave me a discount. I couldn't pay in cash so they set me up on a twelve month payment plan. It was one of the best professional experiences I've ever had. I noted the most that they were honest. He could have sold me an expensive unit but knowing that I didn't have a lot of money he sold me a unit made by the same manufacturer that was hundreds of dollars cheaper. Most companies try to mark up an expensive unit, where this guy tried to work with me and my finances.

They had fast and Courteous dispatch. The tech arrived within 90 mins. on a ''no rush'' call. It was a flat $80 for the service call. The tech performed diagnostics and determined the problem was with dirty ignition probe. They cleaned it and showed how to maintain the item myself if desired. There was no jive upselling. These guys understand the concept of good customer service. They also understand keeping it right on Angie's List. Don't be put off because they don't have a listing in the Yellow Pages (They, as I feel, a good website is money better spent). Ron Lucas, the tech, is simply the kind of old-school serviceman you always hope to find. Don't retire too soon, OK?

We have a contract with this company and they call us to ask if we are available to come every spring and fall. If we have a problem with the air conditioner or furnace they will come out and fix it right away. The price is an annual price.
