Country Scrubbins

They have been cleaning for me for the past 3 years, we Love our Country Scrubbins!  Dawn and Gomer (Teresa) are wonderful and always do an excellent job!  I just hired them again to do some spring/deep cleaning for me on their next visit.  I would highly recommend their services to others.  They are honest, fun and always do a fantastic job!

“Country Scrubbins” Dawn Stein and Teresa Ferris 2006 California Avenue Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805 Although the cleaning provided was generally above average, the reliability of the service provided was erratic. I made the mistake of giving them a premature positive review on the Angie’s List web site, after which Dawn and Teresa dramatically declined in reliability. In August, September, October and November they cancelled every other time they were supposed to clean: 1. Someone ran a stop sign and hit and totaled Dawn’s van and she was taken to the hospital with serious injuries including a concussion. 2. They were sitting in my driveway, but couldn’t get into my house because my garage door opener had been taken away with the totaled car. 3. Five minutes before they were to arrive at my home Dawn called to say she was taking Teresa to the hospital because of back pain. 4. They had to reschedule because Teresa had to take her son to Riley. 5. Dawn hit a deer and totaled her second car. Despite all of the cancellations and calls that went unanswered, I continued to tolerate their irregular and unreliable service. I feel I was very understanding and supportive, but I began to feel extremely abused. In October Dawn accidentally broke an antique porcelain hand painted dish and reacted by cowering in a corner (literally); Teresa came to tell me of the incident. The dish was packaged and given to them with the understanding the repair, appraisals and insurance claim would be completed before the end of the year. In November 2012 I reconfirmed my expectations with both Teresa Ferris and Dawn Stein that the claim would be completed by the end of the year. To date, January 21, 2013, no insurance claim has been filed nor has any compensation been provided. In addition to the unresolved insurance claim, payment was made to Dawn and Teresa for December services to be rendered; Dawn and Teresa never completed the second cleaning service in December. During a conversation regarding the lapse in service I discovered no action whatsoever had been taken in regards to the broken dish repair/insurance claim. Apparently asking these ladies to be reliable and accountable made us “not a good fit” and they left a message on my voice mail and quit without notice.

they arrived on time, went to work as soon as I explained what I needed. After completion we spoke about starting a montly service and prices. I feel they are quite reasonible, and will see them again soon. I took way to long to do the review, Sorry.

I had Dawn and Teresa start with a deep cleaning (spring cleaning) in July which took them 4 days; my home has never looked better! They returned 2 weeks later and did a "normal" cleaning" which was thorough and spot on. I plan to continue having them clean on a bi-weekly basis and hope to have a long and happy relationship with these gals!

I contacted Country Scrubbins after my last cleaning person didn't work out, and I'm so glad I did! They have been cleaning my house for about 5 months now. They are very detailed and thorough as well as dependable and trustworthy. Previously I used a larger company and you never knew who might show up to clean, the nice thing about this small company is that the same two women (the owners) show up each time. They also want to make sure I'm happy with the work. On occasion I have asked them to help with other things such as hauling boxes, detailed blind work, etc. and they have done a great job. I highly recommend them.
