this experience has been a complete nightmare. from the start, nothing went right with this job. 1. Had to ride them to come and measure. Dave of Brittany Inc is the Indy rep for charity. He is unreliable, very sloppy and difficult to contact. He finally showed up a week later. Kenneth Jones keeps making excuses for him "he's my Indy guy" 2. Dave mismeasured windows so they did not fit into the existing window places 3. since they didn't fit they were very sloppily installed--hanging out the exterior. One window only had two screws attaching to house. dave did not use caulk (except sloppily for cosmetic purposes--all over screen and window frames. 4. Dave ripped roller off of slider window--did not tell me or replace, just left ripped screw hole--also left screw in garbage disposal 5. neither window was installed square becuase they were jammed into the too small holes, which also resulted in the latch on one window not working. 6. took over two weeks for charity/Brittany to come look at the window. After being in my home for one minute they declared, "well it's milgards problem now" the owner, Kenneth Jones called me to tell me that also. Nothing like standing behind your work. when the Milgard person came to fix the latch he was appalled and ended up reinstalling both windows. Since they were too big, because Dave had not measured correctly, the window frames and window sills had to cut and sanded so the windows would fit correctly. Once the windows were installed correctly, the awning window over the sink (that the Charity salesman talked me into), won't open since the handle hits the faucet. shouldn't a salesman know that? Milgard is still trying to find a handle that works. everytime I look at my $2000 windows I get angry. Charity and Brittany couldn't wait to get my money, didn't care if they did a competent job, and when I complained they passed the buck. Charity does lots of business development at home shows. Run from both of these companies. they stand behind nothing and don't care about customer satisfaction.
Description of Work: Replaced two kitchen windows with Milgard windows.
