The system was installed when we bought the house.  We haven't had any need for it so far.  We haven't had any break in attempts or anything of that nature.

The system went in quickly and worked fine for the first month. After that we had many spurious alarms and then a system failure. After 3 visits by the technician the alarm system seemed to work fine for another month. Then come to find out that it worked fine because it was not even hooked up to the monitoring. The customer service on the phone is terrible. The responsiveness is terrible. The technical support is terrible. Having an alarm go off for no reason in the middle of the night with a toddler in the house and then the customer support tried to hang up on me when I tried to explain the recurring problem is completely unacceptable. I have never had a service go so wrong.

We didn t mind ADT so much, but felt that the per month monitoring fee was a little steep. We decided to look around and found a better service that was actually an upgrade to our current service. If we had to use ADT again, we would as they are a very professional and dedicated company to use.

It went well. The representative was very thorough, professional and he was even a few minutes early for his appointment! He listened to our needs and did not try to oversell us. He gave us what we really needed.
