He was right on time and very efficient and even cleaned up after finishing.

They provided a three year warranty on the springs, same day service. The technician Joe was very helpful and answered all of my questions about opener replacement and suggestion for battery backup options for me.

• Excellent service. A technician came to my home only a couple of hours after I placed the service call, and my garage door was fixed in about 30 minutes. I'll definitely use this company again.

Just excellent. I left a message for an estimate and the owner called back the same day. He did the estimate. His installer was prompt, courteous, professional and explained things very well.

He arrived a bit early . Great! I told him about the details of the malfunction of the door. He listened and concurred with me. I was not feeling well so when he suggested I go in and let him work. I felt comfortable with him. He's a neighbor geographically not personally and was clearly sincere and trustworthy. I allowed him to work. Within 30 to 40 minutes, he reported he was finished he showed me the parts - a shredded cable, a guide wheel? with a bad bearing and another worn wheel that was causing problems and were replaced. I paid. He left.

Service man (Joe) arrived within the anticipated window. Within 30 minutes of arrival the door was working again. Considering this was done in near zero temperatures we were very happy to be able to close our garage door again. Joe was professional and knowledgeable. He offered to do a repair or replacement at our choice. We choose to repair and there was no push to up sell. We have used A and L before and will continue to use them for our garage door issues.

Work and options were explained cleary. After my deciding what I wanted now, the work was performed efficiently and properly. He also showed me how to oil the springs and tracks reqularly to prevent future problems. This is the third time over 25 years thery have serviced the door mechanisms is the same professional manner.

.It took about 6 hours to complete the job . The work was very professional and the doors were top quality.The installers were friendly and respectful. The old doors were hauled away and the new doors look great. The price and quality were better than any estimate I received and I check about 5 companies.

The service man showed up on time and was very pleasant, described what he needed to do and did it quickly.

This is the 3rd time I have used this company and have always been impressed with how quick they come out and the cost. A spring broke yesterday in my garage and I could not get my car out. I called A&L at 5:30 PM and asked if someone could come the next day. I was asked if afternoon was soon enough, it was and the owner(Lynn Frecker) arrived by 1 PM. Last Summer, I backed into my garage door(don't ask). I needed it fixed right away as my husband was out of town, I couldn't close the garage, and did not want to leave it open when I had to leave. Mr. Frecker came right away and really saved the day!
