Not many people can say they had an excellent experience with a major house remodel. Well, we did working with Jim Fisher and ZMAX on a large house addition, which began April 2007 and finished on schedule mid-July 2007. We have remodeled two old homes and worked with several major Indy and Meridian Kessler contractors. For this project, we chose Jim and ZMAX for the following reasons: - Jim is a highly reputable homebuilder/general contractor from southern Indiana who has spent his life in construction and remodeling. - We saw the quality of his work in a friend?s kitchen and bathroom installation. - His price was more reasonable than local area competitors who, in our opinion, are accustomed to potential overcharge. In our experience through this project, we would highly recommend Jim Fisher and ZMAX Construction for the following reasons: - Timliness and scheduling ? Jim is very well-scheduled and juggles all work to keep timeline on track. Atypical of most large projects, ZMAX hit our quoted timeline to the week, a major benefit. - Workmanship ? Jim and his crew have great experience and ability to perform any level of work. He has ?seen it all? and knows how to handle any issue that may arise. He?s also open to trying any idea the homeowner has to enhance the project. - Attention to Detail ? A relatively uninvolved GC would easily overlook small and even some large details which are important to a home-owner. Jim was on our project site nearly all day, every day. He remains involved at every level to make sure details are not missed. - Cleanliness ? In a large project general site cleanliness is the difference in a project which is livable vs. one which is not. Jim runs a tight ship, and as a result his crew and all subs treated the space like they were in someone?s home, not on a worksite. - Quality of crew and subcontractors ? Subcontractors were friendly, on-schedule, neat and did high quality of work.
