At the beginning, things went well. The sales professional was friendly and informative. Things fell apart when given a time quote to finish the project. Original estimate we 4-6 weeks. Project was completed 8.5 weeks after ordering. I understand delays occur, but my frustration came when the company provided me with NO communication about the delays. We had to call 4 times (week intervals) to get status updates. Even when we left messages our calls were not returned. When we were able to speak to someone, there were always excuses given. Very frustrating and not someone I will use in the future.

They came out to estimate the job as scheduled. Two weeks later, they came and replaced the windows and did a great job. I've used The Glass Guru before and I will use them again when needed.

Contacted me right away on Angie's list. They sent a salesman to take measurements and give me a quote the day I contacted them. Told me it could be 2-4 weeks. Very expensive mistake I made. Have windows that open up to clean. When you open then they stick so you have to push the tabs in to like clean them and push...this makes them get out of the window groove. It wasnt in the window groove when I closed it and fell and shattered one pane. Thank God there is 2 or I would be not happy. They told me when I called it would take a week. It took 2 or 3 weeks. Thank god it was a 2 pane glass and it was summer time. The one things I was not fond of was they guys came early. I work from home. I am on the phone and someone keeps beating at my door. Its not even 2 oclock yet. I answer the door they say they are with Glass Guru and I state your do here at 3 oclock and I am still working. They said they called (they did they did not leave a voicemail) .. It was a Friday and I am sure they wanted to be done with their day but I was working and they was not assigned to be here until 3. I would have liked a call ahead of time and a voicemail to see if I was open to them coming early.

The tech who measured the window was on time and provided the estimate for the door and when it would be installed. The glass arrived 1 month early and the techs were on time and did a professional job. I continue to use this company because of their on time service and the excellent work they do each time.

Glass Guru was prompt with correspondence and appointments and they were very professional. My only complaint is that after the job was completed, there was silicone that had oozed on different areas of the glass from the installation. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with the work.

Overall, I am satisfied with the completion of the job and the price. However, I did experience a lack of professionalism when dealing with this business. The estimator was very friendly and professional. The installers were also very friendly and did a nice job on the install and glass cleanup - however, they tracked dirty wet shoes through my house (across my hardwood floors) and didn't put on booties until after they had already been back and forth several times. I found this to be rather unprofessional, and after they left I had to sweep and mop up after them. When I asked about an Angie's List discount, I was initially told there was a 10% discount on services. However, the discount was not applied on my final invoice. I was told I needed to print off the coupon from Angie's List, however there was no coupon available through the site. I was then told I needed to leave a review before I would receive the discount. I've never heard of anyone demanding a review in exchange for a discount through Angie's List - this seemed unprofessional to me. So here I am leaving a review that is probably less favorable than it would have been otherwise, because of the difficulty in obtaining the promised discount.

The guys did a really good job. had old glass out and new glass in no time. Something your competitors told me would take at least and hour and require two sets of scaffolding. one on inside and one on outside. the only negative was, because the window was in the entryway and up high, the guys did not clean the window very good at all once installed. Something your competitors made sure they accomplished. It is really smudged up so I will have to get an extension ladder to clean. when I told them about the smudges I saw at the time, they cleaned spots on the window...but not the entire window. not a deal breaker as I will use your company again. just a suggestion as it completes the job!

Called them out to get an estimate on a Thursday after hours and they originally said they could be there Tuesday. After checking the weather and seeing the temps were supposed to be negative I called back to see if we could possibly schedule anything sooner. They were able to squeeze someone in SAME DAY! They then ordered the window and by Tuesday they had it in. There was a small mix up with the window, but they were super efficient and still got it in that day. I would absolutely use them again because of price ($200 less than the other estimate I got from another company) and their willingness to help get this window replaced. Absolutely recommend and will use them again if our dog breaks anymore windows!

My only complaint would be I wasn’t kept in the loop for delivery of door. I made all calls to them to check on door. Told 6-8 weeks, it was 9 weeks. Price was similar to big box but could not get full glass door. Double door flaps instead of single. Good restriction of cold air flow.

The workers showed up on time. They went through the house and put down drop cloths through-out the house to catch debris and dirt. They worked on the windows and cleaned up all trash as completed. The workmanship was very good.
