I guess I shouldn't be surprised given the other poor reviews. Overall, this apartment complex is relatively new and overpriced as such for the area. They have a grand scheme that eventually the area around Saxony "beach" will be built up and maybe then it will be worth the premium price they are asking for. However, the management is more like a dictatorship and fairly rude in their attitudes toward the lessee once they have you locked in. Let me provide some examples.
My parents or in-laws will visit frequently to help with our two young children however the management will not allow my family to use the "amenities" such as the gym or pool without direct supervision of an individual on the lease. My wife isn't even on the lease, does that mean she has to always be accompanied by me to take her to the gym or use the pool. They started handing out rubber wrist bands for "guests", "residents" and "children" that must be worn at all times to use the facilities. But, even while wearing them the guests can't use the facilities without the residents being there. Most of the residents and guest don't even wear these wrist bands anyhow. It's laughable at best. I've been appalled at the things I have seen at this place. I've seen two residents having S** in the hot tub at 530pm in broad daylight. This place is NOT for families. I was walking with my wife and my 3 year old daughter when we saw this and I could not believe what was going on. Also, they have a strict policy about picking up your own dog poop otherwise you will be fined, which I am all for except it is never enforced and there is dog poop all over the greenery of this place.
Overall, extremely overpriced for what you get. Exceedingly small apartments with cheap stuff that looks good on the outside but falls apart easily and then you as the lessee has to pay for it. Not a family community with the stuff that I have seen around this place and it is poorly run. It is far cheaper to rent a house in the surrounding neighborhood, which also have community pools and amenities and you would be getting a larger place.

I have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. I like the location number one and the amenities. It has very nice grounds. They have a swimming pool and a nice club house. They have the new Saxony beach right there. What happened we sold our house and had a house built. We were renting it and now are going back to that house. I needed a home in transition because our other house sold so fast. My building is one of the newest buildings. I chose this floor plan because the master was big enough to fit my king size bed and all of my stuff.
