My wife and I first met Todd at the flower and patio show when we were looking at adding on a screened in porch to our house in plainfield.  We made an appointment and Todd came out took some measurements and helped us finalize our design.  We were very pleased with the overall design that he was able to tease out of our conversations.  However, when he finally sent his estimate over, it was way outside of our budget.  I thanked them for their time, and was ready to walk away, when he came back with some different material and a change in price that was in-line with our budget.

Overall the work went smoothly until the end.  We were under some time constraints to get finished by Memorial day.  Ultimately the work was completed but it took several attempts to get the correct hardware on the door installed.  This was complicated by the fact that it became increasingly difficult to get a hold of Todd, or his brother Chad.

The real kicker came a couple months later when one of their sub-contractors called us looking for payment, threatening to put a lien on our property.  TC Meyer did resolve the issue, but again it took several attempts to get a hold of them, and to get them to resolve the matter.

We recently sold that home and it only took 6 days on the market for the sale.  No doubt that the porch and patio had a large part in that.  When listing it on the market, I had to replace a couple of the stones on the sitting wall since I had spilled a melted citronella candle on them.  Todd sent a crew out to replace them (with my materials) based soley on an e-mail that asking what I needed to do to remove the top layer.

Additionally, we had them come out to our new home just a few weeks ago for an estimate to have some concrete sealed with a tinted sealer.  Todd again came out in short order and took measurements for the project.  Unfortunately it took several weeks and multiple e-mails to get the estimate, which was very high.  We chose to not have them do this project.

Their design was what won them the contract and there were 3 designs submitted and theirs were unlike the other two in anyway. I had gotten an idea about a product which they had never used before or heard about and they were open to the idea of using this product. It is called easy breathe windows and I appreciated them for being open to using something they had never used before. I paid about $50,000 on that work.

It went well. My wife dealt with the whole thing. They drew something up for her. She worked with them to pick out colors, and with the landscaping. They did a good job. They worked with her very well. She has recommended them since then. If she didn't like something they would change it. We didn't really compare prices. Once they got started on the job, they got it done quickly.

This company was easy to deal with. They listened to what we wanted and needed and had good design concepts. They paid attention to detail and did an excellent job building this porch. We had several estimates and their bid was competitive.

TODD MEYER PROVIDED PROFESSIONALLY DRAWN DESIGNS AND HIS CREW COMPLETED WORK IN THE TIME SPECIFIED. WORK IS OF EXCELLENT QUALITY, AND MATCHES DESIGN OF EXISTING DECK SEAMLESSLY.
