Jason is the BEST! I have had 2 different contractors over the last 2 years for a persistent roof leak impacting an area in the kitchen ceiling. One of those contractors came 3 times and did some caulking in the area. This lasted 1 year and as you might guess, the heavy 2 days of rain during the 2nd week in April left me with the same leaks in the same areas. Sheward Contractors was one of the referrals that I received, but I was skeptical as to whether he would be able to truly fix my issue after 2 years of dealing with this leak. Immediately upon meeting Jason, I began to feel more confident in a resolution. He listened patiently while I recounted the history of my issues, he evaluated the roof area and came back with pictures and recommendations. The pictures showed the caulking had cracked and also he felt a hole deep behind the shingles in that area where water could seep in with heavy rains and pooling of water. He also showed me pictures of a clogged dryer venting system right beside the problem area that may or may not have contributed to the issue. None of the other contractors even informed me that my dryer vented to the roof. I was surprised about this information but grateful for Jason and his thoroughness in explaining it all to me. Jason responded to my emergency situation and gave priority to fixing my roof by removing shingles, installing new flashing, replacing shingles and also replacing the dryer vent with a better dryer venting system after cleaning out around the area opening. Jason, thank you so much for your excellent service to your customers, your expertise in your chosen profession, your kindness and your overall responsiveness to what are usually stressful circumstances for your customers. I also know by your ethical communications and manner that you plan to stand by your solution, such that even if something did not work as planned, I know that I can count on you to assist with a resolution. Jason and his team did an outstanding job from start to finish on replacing my roof. Jason worked with me and my insurance company throughout the process and aided in the roof inspection process. He reviewed the roofing process with me in detail and discussed roofing material options. The workers were punctual and cleaned up daily until the job was done and were meticulous in their workmanship. When the job was completed, I couldn't tell they had been there other than a new roof! Sheward was recommended by a neighbor whose adult child knew him. The men came to our home, examined and photographed our roof, explained the process of getting approval from insurance, and came back later with an estimate. Neither of the two men that came were pushy or manipulative, and we felt they were genuine and honest. They did the work in a reasonable amount of time, and cleaned up at the end of each work day. We were kept informed throughout the process....most pleased!

They were out to diagnose damage very quickly, came with materials to fix the problem areas, and had it done much faster than I expected. Sheward Roofing worked with my insurance company to make sure the work was done to their specifications. The crew was efficient and clean. The owners are heavily involved with their company and respond to questions and concerns themselves. They also spent time on the job overseeing and came by to make sure the final clean up was done well. Roof looks great and I would recommend their services.

Went great - can't say enough about Jason and the crew. He had performed a number of repairs for me over the last couple of years and never tried to oversell me. His work is always high quality and he was quick to return my calls and punctual. He has a great personality, work ethic, and knowledge level. When some storm damage came through, he worked with the insurance adjuster and insurance covered the replacement of the roof and gutters. I left for work in the morning, and by early afternoon he was texting me pictures of the final product. I pulled up a couple hours later and aside from the gleaning new roof, there wasn't any evidence there had even been any work done. To this day, I haven't even come across a single roofing nail in my yard. Sheward seems to have all business up and down my street and I'm not exaggerating.

On the day of roof replacement, Jason and his crew arrived and started work promptly, they answered any questions I had during the work and the crew was operating so smoothly that my young son was having his afternoon nap without any disturbance. Roof replacement was completed as planned without any delay and our house looks transformed, the new roof looks beautiful. I have to mention about their clean up work they did because after they left I was looking to clean up any missed nail but I found only 2 of them which was impressive because there were like thousands of nails from old roof removal. Overall, the quality of work is second to none, Sheward contractors will be our go to contractor for any future roof, siding needs.

They came twice to measure, inspect and gave an estimate. They followed up promptly and gave me a date which needed to be altered because of rain but they kept me informed and arrived on the re-scheduled date and were finished in a single day (which they estimated) they cleaned up all debris and picked up roofing nails with a magnet sweeper.

Jason showed up the same day that I contacted him, inspected the damage, and gave us a quote. Due to high winds, he wasn't able to make the repairs that day but came back the following day and completed the job in less than 30 minutes.

I contacted sheward contractors and heard a response within minutes. I had an appointment scheduled within the same week. Jason was prompt and I was in contact with carma a couple days prior and the morning of my appointment. He inspected the entire roof and then went over with me what the problem was. Luckily it was an easy fix with my gutters, which he did. He went over with me recommendations to prevent this from happening again. I will have sheward contractors out to my house for all my future roofing needs. I will also recommend them to all my family and friends in the area as well! Honest, trustworthy people are hard to find and they are wonderful!

Jason Sheward, owner was on the job with the contractors making sure the job was done to specifications. He answered multiple questions I had. They value their workmanship and want to make sure the job is done right so they get referrals for a job well done.

Mr. Sheward showed up promptly, was very courteous and professional and more than fair in his assessment and estimate. He took the time to show me pictures of the issue and set about fixing it on the spot. I originally called Sheward Contractors because I noticed a leak during a storm.  I used a coupon that cost $50.00 and allowed $75.00 towards the repair.  I purchased the the coupon through Angie's List and received a response the same day.

We set up a scheduled time, and the contractor was prompt and friendly. After explaining my concern about the leak, the contractor did an inspection and took pictures of the hole in the roof as well as the exposed nails so I could see what needed to be done. The  work was done on the spot, and then I was shown the after pictures so I could see exactly what was done.

We discussed the condition of my roof which was still good, and there was no pressure to buy a new one or do additional unwanted services. 

I will definitely do business with Sheward Contractors in the future when I need roof and/or gutter repair.

The whole pre-installation to final clean up of the job went perfectly.  Carma Sheward was very helpful in selection of the roofing material, the filing of the insurance claim, and quick to respond to any of my questions or needs.  The roofing crew that Sheward construction used was amazing.  Many of my neighbors were impressed with their professionalism, roofing crew, and clean up that they all knew who they would use when needing a new roof.  The work and interaction was total professionalism and completion on time.
